I don't think there are any larges left at all. Zalera's been one of the smaller (if not smallest) servers for a while and even here all the larges are bought up.Yes it is important enough to keep my sub active, otherwise i wouldn't brought that up as a point.
I spend the time to get enough gil, fighting the horde to get to the sign first and buy the house. I don't want that be wasted.
Maybe I just need to find new people and have fun with the social part.
Can't say it the same with Large houses on any EU server. Maybe that's more common on the NA servers?
Personally, I found the story of Alexander and Omega to be very lacking when compared to Coil. We also had the ARR intro movie to add to the mystique of the fights. You would see that movie at the title screen, which was epic to many people and coils tied right into that.
Alexander and Omega have tried to stand on their own and to me at least, I found both to be bland and boring. I usually like story content which makes the miss even more glaring to me.

Reading too much of the forums makes me very sad and apathetic.
Well Pharos Sirius was pretty tough when it first came out (and apparently still is if you do it at minimum ilevel, which is i48), but we all know how that story goes. Majority of the playerbase does not seem to like it when content meant for casual play is difficult :U
Well it is sad also in a way that if you want a break you know you may loose your house.
Considering it has taken myself until last housing patch to finally get one i almost feel the need to remain subbed
They've played it pretty safe with both Alexander and Omega. Coil worked well because it had a lot of story and character development. Some of the bosses also had a lot of emotional weight to them and there's a couple of major deaths involved that serves to make the stakes rather high. Heavenward's and Stormblood's raid stories just feel like they were more about inserting cool references than actually telling a cohesive story. I'm also tired of Cid and his lackeys being injected into raid content, especially when we know they're immune to lasting injuries/deaths.
Just take a break. If money is not an issue, keep your sub up for housing purposes or if a friend need a hand with something.
I personally took a long break during HW, at the begining of 3.1 through 3.3 because Gordias killed my will to raid and I had no faith in the next raid tier. The game was feeling really stale at the time and the Diadem was truly bad. I had plenty of things to do when I came back. It was refreshing and felt like starting over, re-learning some stuff I had for granted.
It's sad you can't transfer your house to someone else or make the house sharing more useful, like letting that people to stop the autodemolish feature by stepping inside your house.
I’ve played since beta phase 3 and I am now, for the first time feeling completely burnt on everything in the game. The hardest part for me is the fact we all pay what we do to play this and we are progressively getting more content. I am currently subbed but breaking with ESO, it’s just a shame, I feel like they have really dropped the ball this expansion...a break will do you good I’m aure..
