and to everyone who's bitching about how this is disgraceful or immoral, I would point out that game, anime, and other popular media do shout outs all the time. If you played Fable 2, did you complain about the presence of "Hal's Armor"? Or maybe Old Snake's Altier costume in MGS4? Perhaps you screamed bloody murder when you found Cloud Strife in Final Fantasy Tactics?

Kingdom Hearts in general?

I think the point is, that Assassin's Creed has NOTHING to do with Final Fantasy. Cloud Strife in tactics was completely acceptable because it is still a Final Fantasy game.
Kingdom Hearts is a combination of Final Fantasy and Disney. And now with the new Dream Drop Distance trailer it seems we are getting another character from TWEWY. I personally have never played the game (TWEWY) but, it is still a Square Enix game. So, its fine.
