For those that were late to the party, what do you say to them -- tough luck? Or would you like the opportunity for players to be able to get them in-game again?

(For the purpose of this discussion, I won't say make them available on Mog Station because that's a whole other can of worms I don't want to open).

Examples include:
- The Goobue, tattoo and Chocobo barding from 1.0 (a 2.0 pre-order? I don't know)
- The carbuncle plushes
- The mail moogle
- The Odin Zantetsuken emote
(and in time, things like the Shiva emote, Nidhogg minion, Hraesvelgr minion)
The 1.0 Tattoo and the 1.0 Chocobo should never become available except to players that played 1.0. This is less of a "I got mine" and more of a "I played 1.0 and lived to tell the tale." I don't know about the Goobue as I wasn't aware of the requirements for it.

Everything else that was not exclusive to that version of the game (eg I remember the 1.0 preorder items that I COULD NOT REDEEM, and henceforth have been rather ticked off about pre-order bonuses from SE ever since) may as well come back as they were bonus items that you didn't actually pay more for. I'm sure there's quite a few people who played 1.0 and wished that they had remembered to migrate their character.

Anyway.

All other things, that are event items, or physical purchase tie ins, they should either come back by having the event re-played that gave them, or they should be purchasable from the Mog station if you really-really want them immediately. Some items I believe were only available due to physically going to where where SE had setup a booth at a convention, and that's rather unfair to players who can't go to them (really, at $300/night not to mention entry costs, do you really want to spend around $1000 to go to a convention to pick up a $25 plush?)
