About that...People are saying the moogle attire was marketed as exclusive for attending a particular fanfest, but it ended up on mog station anyway. If it is true that it was marketed as exclusive to that fanfest, then that very dangerous precedent has already been set. And that is the worrying thing. I think Lightning's attire was also marketed as exclusive for a particular event, but went on mog station too. That is a problem, and I think the only way to address it would be to file a class action lawsuit against Square Enix. But you can bet those who dared try it would be found and banned from the game permanently for costing SE money with a lawsuit.
Just for emphasis on it’s exclusivity, they highlighted the “exclusive” part.
It was a **** move for them to sell it after the fact.

Reading too much of the forums makes me very sad and apathetic.

welp, solves that, outside 1.0 stuff yes everything should be on the mog station, locking an emote behind 125 euro statue is plain wrong.

There is a saying “Two wrongs don’t make a right.” A crap load of wrongs isn’t any better.
Most people, including myself would agree that they ae really pushing it with that. Regardless of my feelings on it, and yours too, they sold it as a limited time offer item. That time has passed and it’s no longer available. You had a chance to buy it just like everyone else.

it would be 3 wrongs then, and I do not know a saying on that. There is a saying “Two wrongs don’t make a right.” A crap load of wrongs isn’t any better.

I do not agree with "exclusive in game items" attached to limited one time thing, that is how scams start off in general, so people feel more pressured in buying something they do not want to. I said what I said because I do not agree to the exclusive item thing, but I felt some on here support such a thing so I wanted more weight of an argument in why everything should be in mog station after a set time. (save 1.0 stuff, that is a whole different situation, since there was no original intent in having that situation anyway)

For things released after they disclose what the waiting period is for those items prior to introducing unlimited distribution either through the MogStation or in game.
Old items that were released prior to that change? Go fish.

This is the type of stuff that bothers me, but on the other end of the argument. If people spent $1000 to be at an event that was selling exclusive items, or if their ticket included a code for an exclusive item, then they are the ones who deserve it.
Someone else in this thread mentioned buying the statues for the emotes alone. How upset would they be if SE's plan was to start selling the emote by itself for $12 on the cash shop? That's a wee bit shady, and bound to lose the trust of some players.People are free to be upset about that, this is why SE should not be doing it in the first place. It should be a SIDE bonus (I/e you are getting it for free because you want to do the main object) but that side bonus should not be locked from getting main object in question. In other words I have no issue with giving you a free mog station item for going to the convention or buying a 140 statue, but that side content that was free should be made available to everyone.it would be 3 wrongs then, and I do not know a saying on that.

You are neglecting not just costs, some people simply can't travel due to disability and such, I guess what I am saying is, SE really should start putting these side bonuses the same time you can get them for "free".
