It is not viable since it is a SE connection problem. If I decide to use VPN, the problem disappears.
    Check the Proxy configuration.
It is no coincidence that all Argentines DC'ing same time every 15-20min.
We are 6 friends with the same problem, "different cities, different internet services".

    Thank you for reading
I see what you mean, however, if you can connect properly with a VPN, then there is no issue with the server itself. I'm not sure how it is a Square Enix connection issue if the server is the only thing we have control over. It sounds like you have a routing issue without the VPN and, unfortunately, we can't control how you are routed to the servers. I'm assuming you have already tried the troubleshooting steps listed in that link, correct?

And what is the solution for all the Ps4 players who can't use a VPN?

All of them have different ISP and all of them are from Argentina, all of them started to have this issues since last week.

    Hello everyone.

To help us research this issue better, we would like for everyone to provide a trace route along with your general location (City/Country) and ISP. Post the results of these trace routes in this thread. Thank you for your cooperation.

    Alesandy,

Your trace route does look a little odd. It looks like you are being routed through Europe before coming back around to the US. This would explain a few things, but I'm not sure why it's going so far out of it's way in the first place. Are you using a VPN of some sort?

We hope we can be of assistance in helping you enjoy the exciting world of Final Fantasy XIV!

Server location and NTT nodes are the cause...

These issues are identical to the issues regarding the NA servers as a whole. Please consider putting your tracerts here in this thread.

    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...NA-Data-Center

The moderating team will continue to state that their servers are not at fault and are not the cause. While technically this is true, the location of the server itself is one of the causes to these issues since Square Enix paths their online traffic through NTT's nodes.

This is not completely true, since as I have written several times, the problem begins after maintenance:

    [Date & Time]
    Mar. 27, 2018 12:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. (PDT)

We are many Argentines with the same problem, DC and lag spikes, all at same time.

Noticed this hop 204.2.229.234 is always requesting a time out when ever do a tracert and next hop is my server database 204.2.229.108. Might be same problem with your disconnects to. SE needs to get on them to fix those stations. Since they moved there database that hop is always given me problems with it requesting timeouts. Wish they move the datacenter back to where it was. Never got disconnects there. For 204.2.229.234 got this from when did tracert today * 36 ms * and then for last one 204.2.229.108 it was 37 ms 35 ms 36 ms.
