What are you talking about? When I said that many of us have played XI for many years, it also inferred "What's your point," and you missed that apparently when you asked the same question.Actually this is what you said
"You're wrong. I know very little Japanese, yet 99% of the time when I try to communicate on a basic level, they're usually flattered that I'm putting forth the effort. I have zero problems partying with Japanese players. When I'm playing in the early AMs, it's usually a Japanese party that I join to grind.
If you choose to change your mind and put forth a more positive attitude, here's a few polite phrases:
1. よろしくです~ (yoroshiku desu~) Nice to meet you (Literally: Please treat me well)
2. ありがとう~/どもありがとうございます~ (arigatou~/domo arigatou gozaimasu~) Thank you / Thank you very much (respectful, polite)
3. ごめんなさい (gomen nasai) Sorry
4. じゃまた (ja mata) See you later
5. またよろしくです~ (mata yoroshiku desu~) It was nice meeting you again
6. 私はアメリカ人です、でも日本語がすこしわかります (watashi wa amerikajin desu, demo nihongo ga sukoshi wakarimasu) I'm American, but I can understand a little Japanese."
No where did it say ff11.
So mab your own post went over your head?
anyway all i was saying is that if a have to learn another language to play the english version of the game its fail.
Quoting an unrelated previous post in bold confuses me a bit.
