Hello!
We are aware that due to a lack of "My burst is ready" quick chat, players have found ways to communicate with their teammates when they are ready to burst - using "Hello" being one of them.
We would like to let you know that this situation has been forwarded to the dev. team, and that they are positively looking into the situation!
Good luck to all of you trying to climb the ladder in Season 7!

Instead of having to use some ridiculous pre determined system, just let us talk to our team mates. . .
Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]
Awww, this wasn't about ERP? :<
I'm still kind of amazed that quick chat was necessary in the first place. The immaturity of some players really is quite astounding.
If they wanna build around burst they have to buff some classes also because some classes are better at bursting then others.
Unfortunately there are far too many immature people who play the game to make this viable. They had to remove chat for good reasons: in this day & age it was too risky (business wise & legally) for them to allow free chat to continue. They were also swamped with so many reports of abuse that the only option was to remove chat altogether or face complete collapse of the moderation system.
Or instead of taking away chat, they should've added the option to MUTE. XD LMAOUnfortunately there are far too many immature people who play the game to make this viable. I actually think the way some people spam quick chat commands, that muting would be a fine option.
"We want bunny suits for guys!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Ishgard housing!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Viera!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Cloud's motorcycle!" -- OK! ✅
"We want Blue Mage!"-- OK! ✅
"We want the ability to earn past Feast rewards!" - HAHA no that's sacred.
