On one hand, there isn't any content in the game wherein you need 370 gear to do.

On the second hand, what would you suggest to put as drops off those bosses in order to make those who raid and put the time in to do that content feel rewarded for their time investment?

Then, thirdly, in May there'll be a new Alliance Raid that'll likely offer up coins a la Rabanastre to upgrade mendacity to 370, anyway, so the point becomes rather moot after that.

I personally don't care what raid version gives whatever level gear as a reward. The way this game is you will out level said raid once you have a complete set so shouldn't need anything higher to stay there or start attempting the next raiding tier. Also let's not forget that at the next patch whatever is BiS will likely be replaced by something you can get through questing or new lower level instanced content anyway.

If you aren’t doing Savage, you don’t need top-tier gear.

I was trying to do O5S lately in order to get start gaining something in this game and i end up hating O5S so much i was trying to do it 4 times already i give up, ending up with pugs being constantly dropped from the platform and touched by the ghosts, because the way hitboxes and hit registration in this game works is a nightmare and a total BS.

Then you got bad PUGs. But if you’re joining learning parties, don’t expect to clear on the first pull, or even the first group you join. You giving up so quickly tells me you probably don’t need the i370 gear anyways.

There are too many mechanics to execute them with the group of random people and the enrage timer doesnt help it at all.

The mechanics are relatively simple in V5S, and the enrage timer is necessary. It’s less restrictive than Alte Rolte’s was, as far as I remember, Alte Rolte being ~9:40 and V5S being ~10, iirc. I rarely see runs last long enough to get to enrage when I do weeklies.

It makes me to drop this game and sub right away, due to the fact you HAVE TO complete it in order to proceed your progression further.

No, you don’t. Unless you’re doing Savage or Ultimate, you don’t need i370. You don’t even need i370 for Sigmascape Savage—it was cleared with ~350. Only thing you’ll need max ilevel for is Ultimate fights.

i350 is more than enough for the things you’ve listed you enjoy.

Also i dont understand one thing, why does SE are so much against parsers, when they have just released a content so heavly based on the DPS check where these parsers are necessary in order to finish the content without losing it every second time. Are they mad or something? Because i am, why? Because end game is drastically different from what i have experienced in this game so far and i have just hit a ceiling with my stupid head.

I like alliance raids, gold saucer, i kinda like dungeons i like doing omega outside of savage, and what? It will not give me the stuff i am looking for because 370 item level is ENTIRELY gated behind that content with this diabolic thing called enrage timer. Why?

You don’t need i370 for alliance raids or dungeons. i350/i360 is fine, which is easily obtainable via crafted, relic, and tomestone gear.

why are you forcing your players to play a numbers game with parser, in freaking 2018?

SE isn’t forcing you to do anything. Savage is not necessary for game progression; it’s entirely optional content.

Give us at least and OPTION TO FARM one piece of this equipment doing other content or with tomestones, make it so we need to play 1 month to get one, BUT AT LEAST GIVE US AND OPTION to earn this thing, LIKE ANY OTHER MMO DOES since 1997.

They do that—when the 24-man alliance raids are released every catch-up patch. You’ll get your token to trade in for an upgrade piece (glaze or twine for accessories/left side), and be able to augment i360 to i370. That’s how it’s been done since ARR.

Yes I AM BAD AND I FEEL BAD, but i am still a player that cannot do the content that gates my character progression, i sit at ilvl 354 and i am like 30% weaker than the guys who have a good guild and do the savage content with help of a parser and the items they already got, thats really nice isnt.

If you’re 30% weaker than someone with better gear than you, then your gear isn’t the problem. I see that you main tanks, which BiS for tanks this tier is all pentamelded crafted accessories again, so their ilvl is going to be less than i370 overall anyways.

It is not funny to keep trying, wasting time and get nothing at all, why should i try to do it for the 10 time if i could play something else. For seven hells i cant think of a mmo that was infuriating me so bad lately, i was thinking ESO and their expert dungeons were stupid, but at least your item progression wasnt so heavly limited there, and FFXIV just broke all my expectations.

I understand some hardcore gamers should have their place in the game, and i am happy with it, they could have it all i dont mind, but lets say eureka is already here, there was a GIANT opportunity to throw in there 370 ilvl items for players who like just to farm but cant do the savage content because of the reasons. Why it have not been done? They pushed resources to the content lately that would be a great opposition to omega savesht but is not, because the rewards are meaningful and it will be forgotten within 1 month. Why?

Again, wait for the catch-up patch to get your i370 if you aren’t going to raid. That’s how it’s always been done. If you want it early, raid. If you don’t, then wait.

Also i dont understand the logic behind argument of "because 370 ilvl is a reward for doing savage!", yes a reward for being a slave forced to do one thing over and over and over, thats so much fun, lets make a party!

People do Savage of their own free will. Thereby, they aren’t slaves.

What content outside of Savage needs the 370 right now? You can get good 360 pieces with mendacity, or the 5 slot 355(? I think, not at home to check) Eureka gear. The new alliance raid will come out which will give tokens to upgrade whatever the current tome gear is at that time and that will be a way for non-raiders to catch up.

I do Extremes but not Savage. I don't see any reason we non-Savage raiders need that tier of gear in the non-Savage content. We can do fine in what is accessible to us.
