If people put in the same effort in gil making as they do with diadem farming, they would be pure i350 in all jobs quicker then one diadem 3.0 set.

1000 for the weapon, 495 for head, hands and feet, 825 for body and legs, for a total of 4135 tomestones. Divide by 450, we have 9.1 weeks. Strange, it's almost as if I didn't count accessories and belt, especially because Eureka doesn't provide these.

Oh, and I don't like crafting, so I don't do it, this way, earning gear stays fun for me...

that is for 360 gear, and it does not matter if you do not like it, it does not change the point diadem 3.0 in its entirety is only for mounts, minions, and glams. (thus contradictory to your joke you made earlier to me, that is why it was so funny) To think I was doing this as a side benefit to boost my ilevel, what a joke.

*note bold please. also its 144 vs 160, that is not game breaking compared to the crafted gear, you are not looking at the full picture when you say "Also, I think you are underestimating just how good 5 tier vi materia are at that ilvl, it beats out many 360 pieces for most of the jobs " it depends what the sub stats is on the diadem gear vs the crafted or 360 gear, and 360 gear gets +80 from melds. so having +80 more on something 10 ilevels less? there is more at work then simply having 5 VI materia, that or you did not include everything to draw such conclusions.

Also I will like to point out "You at your finest" this implies the post was meant to be an aggressive attack. Ill save some post quota so I can reply to you when you do.

I had a full set of "diadem 3.0"gear in less than a week, while working full time and raiding 3 hours Tuesday and Wednesday after work. and that is mostly due to the leveling process taking time. It would take much longer to get enough gil to have all jobs at 350 with crafted gear, especially if one had to, you know, level all their crafter and gatherers, then gear them, then meld them. And at that point, you can make the gear yourself, which makes making the gil to buy the gear pointless.

It only took a day or so to get the next full set. I have 2 completed sets from eureka, and it only gets easier from there.

Also, I think you are underestimating just how good 5 tier vi materia are at that ilvl, it beats out many 360 pieces for most of the jobs


5 tier 6 material puts you +120 stats over 360 gear with melds. This can definitely bump you over a slight increase in main stats from 10 ilvls. I did my research, thanks for checking.

You called me a liar when I said it only took me 15 minutes to go from level 1 to level 2, and only 1 lockout to go from 1 to 5, without doing fates, when it took you 2 hours to get from 1 to 2. You said anyone would have to know about the fates to level that fast.

Correct,

9 weeks to gear one job, without counting accessories.

Far as I know tho antiquated armor doesn't include accessories.

I have all jobs, & as someone said,

For a game that loves you having multiple jobs on one character, it sure does hate you playing more than 1 or 2 roles at a time.

(I sense sarcasm)Anyway, the core restriction on capped lvl for all jobs on this game just make it like this, I accept that I cant keep all my job at highest item lvl, therefore I play what I can where I can & when I can & I gear what I like the most but theses comments are off topic, its not about the reward at all.
