NMs that are relatively high level would be probably be designed into instances. Perhaps this is where the devs are wanting it to be at.I'd like open world NMs that are relatively high level (47-55) that can be lowmanned. My small playing group of three friends had lots of fun going after all these NMs as we were leveling up, gave us fun content to do on the side as we were going up the ranks. Currently NMs for us (now that we're 45-50) range between really easy and beyond-a-lowman-party (Uraeus, Eldergoat, etc)
I really think we should stop calling them instanced NMs. I think bosses is the more correct term, as they're the big badass mob you fight at the end of a run.As long as the instanced NM(s) drop better loot/gear than the open world NM(s), i feel that's going to be fine and i'm sure the Japanese forum players would want that just as much. It clearly defeats monopolization in the face. Those who want to have open world content NM(s), by all means, hope the devs implement it for you guys, but the way it's looking now, instanced NM(s) are on the list of dropping better loot/gear. And it should stay this way. I just do not want an environment where the elitist shells gather about and do their usual botting in open world contents over and over again which refuses other casuals to actually have a shot at it.
And yeah, I'd like gear from open world NMs to be useful, just not better than what bosses drop, and I'm ok with that. Like I said, more fun things to do for all of us - those who like to raid versus those who just like to dick around on open worlds.

AS i said before, make a monster 2x as big as regular, give it 50k hp make their attacks 5x stronger then the regular version and make it have 4 normal versions running around it ( give it a different name too) not that hard to do. (for a major company mgiht i add)
AS a few of have said before, that is not a fun fight and it's not what we want. If we were interested in something like that, we would go fight the level 99 goblins.
Most people don't fight the level 99 Goblins because there is no point in doing this.
Give a mob a reward, and people will kill it. I'd rather kill a "level 99 goblin" than JUST the totally awesome and amazing Moogles for 3 months straight.
If the open world NM drop U/U equipment then that would be ok wouldn't it? Why would anyone monopolize it if their whole group had the drop anyway.
If they had a decent drop rate, a reasonable respawn I don't see a problem.
I wouldn't mind a couple with crazy or random respawns depending on the drop. It is fun to run into something rare and go kill it. However I agree it is not fun to lose claim after claim to another group.
It's a pickle, I don't like a ton of instanced stuff either. A dungeon they intend a group of 8 to run, fine but I would miss those nights where I'm exploring or looking for a NM and bump into someone new and make a friend. I like to hear "Hey, can you help me?" and be able to give them a hand and if everything is instanced we lose that.
no i'm sick of all the gear dropping being u/u and worthless within a short time span.
give an addition of 10 more high level nm's like the original ones and people will be busy for a while. let them drop materials for gear that can be convertable/meldable just the dodore doublet and people have content for a while trying to get hq versions.

Look i know that you may not want to fight lv 99 goblins, no one does, but the point of fighting a lv 99 goblin is that it has a challange but no reward, give this mob a nice reward and everyon will do it.
