    Guys, I get it, and I agree, but I'm thinking that engaging in this back and forth with what can only be described as bullies is hurting the Dark Knight criticism and balance efforts. Some are more amenable to discussion, which is fine, but many are simply egging Dark Knights on (notice how very valid points are ignored each time, like Dark Knight's low usage rate?) for the sake of what seems like entertainment and fuel to discredit Dark Knights as being "too whiny" later on down the road, citing skirmishes they continue sparking.

    Keep up the constructive suggestions, keep up the reports on how you experience playing Dark Knight and why you feel it should be different. The facts and data like the usage rates and general total damage taken are stronger if they are used on their own instead of in response to people who don't care about Dark Knight as a class or playing it long term. Let's debate and accept compromise when necessary, but develop a Dark Mind for ignoring sidetracking attempts at bullying, this person in particular.

    For what it's worth, I'm taking DRK into the current tier. As much as I'd like to see BS be buffed in some capacity, I'd rather see it get streamlined. This whole "Grit, DA, Grit+DA" potency nonsense... I get it, but I can't abide by it. I'd rather see its potencies leveled out, enough of the "if A, then B; if C, then D; if E, then F" schtick. Give it a worthwhile DA effect.

    I'd rather TBN cost Blood than see it made compulsory for DPS.

    I'd like to see Bloodspiller feel harder hitting, but if that means an on-CD TBN, I'd rather virtually any other damage buff.

    There's no reason whatsoever for TBN to have any interaction with MP or Blood. The closest you ever come to interesting gameplay out of that whole mess is "Oh goody gumdrops, if I map out this entire fight down to the GCD, and the fight has phase-change breaks, and I happen to end one of those phases on a Hard Slash, every time, then I can use Bloodspiller one extra time so that I can end on Souleater/Bloodspiller instead of Hard Slash!" And that's not even 1% of enough of a justification for that to be a class mechanic - it's not effective, it's not particularly interesting, it's got zero complexity or depth to it, and it's so situational that it isn't even going to come up most of the time. The MP cost and Blood return should both be removed.

    And once you remove both of those factors from the skill, there's no reason not to buff Bloodspiller, which is currently weak and unsatisfying, entirely due to the TBN interaction.

    Honestly, largely due to class balance issues. SE leaving this gaping holes wide open, only doing significant changes every 3-4 months, and then half the time just making existing issues worse or ignoring them entirely, just kind of overwhelmed my patience.

    Apart from that, nobody in my group was really having fun with Creator/Delta-difficulty Savage raids, and Ultimate wasn't really enough to fill the hole. Basically just felt like time to move on. (Sometimes I end up on this forum just out of habit, though.)

    I think buffing bloodspiller and making TBN not dps neutral is fine. The dev team insist on tanking with your tank stance and made TBN a dps gain in that stance.

    If that was the intention, I don't see why it can't be a gain outside of stance considering that's how most endgame tanks play as MT.

    They did that so the disparity between players who tanked in grit the whole time and those who didn't wouldn't be as big, which falls in line with their current philosophy.
