No, but because it is a Final Fantasy and many people play it specifically for the story, spoilery things should be marked, or hidden inside HB tags like so:

They should also be discussed in the Lore forum rather than General, (a) to reach a more interested audience and (b) to consolidate potential spoilers to a place where readers are people who have already experienced the story or are actively looking for spoilers.

No, but there's a lore specific section of the forums that this could go into - the issue is more or less the OP throwing out three of these threads in the general discussions, and using that font. Their first thread had a title that was a literal spoiler.
