I just got my gathering to 1200 perception so I can now HQ Paladium Ore and the other items. I knew I was going to have to HQ the Base Ingredients.

Thanks, but again, they're all for max-CP. I'm looking to tone them down or even resort to MaMa if I have to. I only have a few bits to craft so I really don't want to have to re-shuffle my over-melds yet again for the sake of a few mats and a handful of wearables. I had more than enough gear/stats for everything and anything else I was primarily crafting, so it's not even for luxury sake really.
"And all the Hyur's say I'm pretty sage – for a White Mage!"
It sounds like you've gotten the answer to your original question which is that you need more CP. You just don't like the answer. If I'm doing a piece of Ala Mhigan gear by hand [from all NQ mats] and I do not have around 500 CP after the Maker's Mark phase then I get very concerned that I will not hit 100% HQ by the end. This is why I have melded 468 CP, and that I use a macro and 8000 starting mats quality, and Tempura HQ and Cunning Tea. This removes the RNG aspect which is the goal of repeatable HQ crafting. Thanks, but again, they're all for max-CP. I'm looking to tone them down or even resort to MaMa if I have to. Assuming your stats are the same as you posted earlier, this is the best you can do without RNG or MaMa:
This requires HQ Tempura, HQ Tea and all possible materials must be HQ. No way around that. But it will HQ Ala Mhigan with your stats.
MaMa is still your best option for power, as I mentioned before you can omit the Ingenuity I's in the quality phases and even the Innovation in the finisher if necessary to complete the craft with your current CP. Again however, you will definitely want HQ Tempura and HQ Tea.
No better answers than that and the ones you've been given. Ala Mhigan gear is currently the most difficult craft in the game. Good luck![]()
Not a problem. Just tone it down according to your own CP amounts then! Easy, right? Thanks, but again, they're all for max-CP. I'm looking to tone them down or even resort to MaMa if I have to. Yeah, go use MaMa too! I always encourage people to start with MaMa rotations and craft stuff manually the first time.
Macros = massively crafting something = "I got so much stats that I can use the easy way to do things quickly"
Obviously, you're not loaded with stats, so macro things with a less powerful rotation + more HQ mats, or don't macro at all - use MaMa and manual-craft. Problem resolved!![]()
