What's your first impression of Eureka?

Well i just want the whole game to be like FFXI honestly, because of that i really liked Eureka. Since 3.0, at least, the game has followed the same template patch after patch which is super boring by now. For eureka im sad i cant level anymore and that i am finished with the contend allready. Also for Eureka i would like the game to encourage chain XP partys more by reducing NM XP and increasing Chain XP. But its seems im in the vast minority here and most people do nothing but complain complain complain about everything and anything, teh community has become so whiny and salty i wouldnt be surprised if that will kill FFXIV slowly, it almost sounds like people whant it to die. In the end its just a game either enjoy it or stop playing if you dont enjoy it

what does ffxi have to do with liking Eureka? completely unrelated. Eureka is not ffxi, does not come close to ffxi, and people have yet to explain why they think so outside omg grinds omg exp loss. that does not make it like ffxi. I liked ffxi, I had more time for it then, even the old version of it before it entered easy mode. This black hole of resources called Eurkia has no feel of FFXI behind it outside some of the dropped glams and monster models. What you do there (game play most important) has no ffxi feel. What it does remind me of is yo kai watch, diadem 2.0, N than farming, and abyssea exp farming (tiny, tiny part of ffxi)

If you want to play ffxi so much why not go play ffxi if you do not enjoy ffxiv? that last sentence applies to you as well.

Expect people to complain when the development team says one thing, and does another.

Eureka could have been nice side-content, that allowed you to be flexible on how much you wanna play. Just have half an hour? Hop into Eureka, you can still achieve some (decent) progress in that time!

Its also not only solo-unfriendly, its unfriendly for smaller groups aswell - lets say there are only one or two friends on. It would have been great to be like "Hey, lets just do som Eureka until more people show up!" - obviously you can still be like that if you're either willing to only progress very painfully and slowly or recruit members within Eureka, which kinda circles back to the whole "not leaving a group/someone behind after 15 minutes" (with 15 minutes being the time it took someone else to log in and you all agreed you wanted to do expert)

That is my problem with it, it is never 30 minutes, it is always above 45 minutes. Usually me and my SO stay for about 1 hr and a half there. The only reason I can take it that long is because i follow my SO as I do other things. I can't feel progress doing just 30 minutes and leaving. it simply takes too long.

To be clear, this suggestion is refering to the time since the instance itself was generated. I'm not talking about the 180min time limit that you have in an instance. It would be a timer counting upwards from the moment the first person entered the instance and the new instance was created. This would be so you can judge whether or not enough time has passed for NMs to be spawnable again in that particular instance.

i am not sure how i feel about that, with the way some people post, that would be "hand holding" I do not think it was intended for people instance jump for NM trains.

You're right I won't debate with you, as I've seen you countless time brushing things that you don't agree with without any kind of argument of even proof of what you prophesize. And this post is the same as what you always do, with the added flavour of a broken record.
