    F: What about the image you used in the Opening Keynote for Eureka?

    Y: It’s only a concept. I want to put focus on things that still haven’t been resolved in the scenario. It’s still a long way ahead, but please do speculate about it.

    F: Will FFIII fans feel nostalgia?

    Y: We are trying to create a Eureka fit for FFXIV, so I don’t think they will. The only merit Eureka in FFIII had, was that you could get stronger weapons so it was easier for you to re-watch the ending. We do plan on giving the players the same feeling of achievement after receiving a powerful weapon through hard work, though.

    F: Will Eureka be an extension to Diadem 2.0 which will be implemented in 3.5?

    Y: We did make adjustments to the Diadem after receiving feedback, but the thought process behind the two is completely different. Diadem planned for 3.5 will have content that will require 4 parties to clear, something like a mini raid. The thought behind Diadem is that you get a surprise when doing your assigned tasks. On the other hand, the concept behind Eureka is that you will have to thrust away to some extent right from the start, so their backgrounds are different.

    F: Will Diadem 2.0’s rewards be Aetherial gear? ──

    Y: The rewards are still in the final stage of adjusting. We are still discussing whether or not the rewards strength is at it’s worth. The development is going quite smoothly, but we are still struggling with it. Whatever the case is, it will be a content that doesn’t exist in FFXIV. We will watch how it is received by players and then present them with Eureka.

    F: The base of it being a content of big size which is challenged by 9 parties, will it change?

    Y: That will stay the same.

    F: Will there be content where even players who don’t like to do content like Anima and Zodiac Weapons just for the sake of completion, can receive strong weapons?

    Y: I will leave that for Eureka.

    F: Oh, I see!

    Y: If it goes well, we might think of doing armor, as well…

    F: Oh?

    Y: But, if we were to do armor, it wouldn’t have its own design. You would register a piece of armor you like and make it stronger. We are thinking that it might be interesting to manipulate a piece of armor you like and make it stronger. This problem is somewhat solvable with the glamour system, but I think that maybe picking and then deciding is also one of ways to entertain oneself.
    It does not matter what happened in those 17 months. The fact is we got delays and delays and got nothing out of it. The point I was trying to make with the basketball thing is that you can't compare them at all because of what yoshi P flat out told US!

    What did we get? diadem 3.0 fate trains, like diadem 2.0

    My point in replying to you is I disagree with your ideas of "well there is nothing you can do players will always complain" Such statements is invalid for this situation and is overused in general. (again because what was told in an interview 17 months ago, yoshi P flat out said, basically, they are not doing fate trains again in a reskinned area, like diadem.)

    Though I like to know this, do you feel i gave you a fitting reply to you, despite your problems with words?

    just posting so you are not left hanging. This "debate" if you call it that will not end, so im stopping here and saying this to try clarifying something. I am not saying "OOOOOOOOOOOOh its the same cuz your killing monster to monster" its LITERALLY DIADEM! you are fate running, it is an instanced data center zone, it does not matter if there is small deails that are different (does not change gameplay) it is the same exact gameplay as diadem, rushing fates, etc. (though diadem 2.0 was more interesting to me then this is)

    Well he's not wrong, it IS different from Dia. It's not a 1 for 1, if you say it is then everything is the same. Cause you can boil that down to - we go here and kil a thing- The difference is in the details. And this zoner is nothing liek anything in rthe game with the systems that are there. No where in the game but here can you be deleveled, no where else in the game has a elemental system so it's not a complete one for one. I'm NOT saying don't be mad, but those two systems prove it is different then what we had before. Yes all we're doing is killing a thing.. but that's the entire GAME.

    I think the deleveling system alone is a big enough change to -gameplay- on it's on. NO where in this game has that.. that along literally changes gameplay. Besides the fact you're always doing a rotation that's fixed, jobs act the same no matter what content.. so yeah. But the 2 "little" systems actually does change gameplay. it may not be what you want but it does indeed change gameplay. Dia doesn't even have a deleveling system. :c

    You do realize that when you unsub, the game still ticks the remaining days you have, right? He could be just using those until his sub runs out. I unsubbed on Tuesday and my sub ran out on Friday. I was in the game until Wednesday but could have been in it until the last second.

    Well then it will be fine if SE just releases new zones with nothing big in it that looks good and people should be happy. FF14 The walking simulator. Release a new zone with nothing in it and the majority of people will never really go there again and the rest is probably some RPers that use it for pictures. You need something in there otherwise this will be death. So lets say visual and the zone is new. Now next to the simple elemental wheel what new content is in this zone? And I mean really new and not a combination of stuff. (I am asking it because you said that quite a lot is new and not just that there a some small parts new) I just cant see the big amount of new stuff.

Similarly, these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
