What's your first impression of Eureka?

I assumed nothing. I've read posts and posted my complaints as well. You've been doing a lot of disingenuous generalization and misrepresentation of those who are rightfully upset with Eureka.
You also assume the people who like Eureka are the majority yet provide no evidence outside maybe that some people are doing it.

You are missing on the highlight of what was said DM

people who stated they hate it but are only doing it because they know it will die off soon and it will be hard to catch up. The same happened with both versions of Diadem as people rushed to do it to get the rewards before it died off rapidly, all the while stating how much they hated what we got..

Doing something to not get left behind is what give a hard cap to instances "in theory" & on the practical aspect of it welcome lag for everyone!

Why do we do this? I cant speak for others, but me, I will do content I do not really like just to play with friends. (Oh! similarity to housing!,Players not wanting to change server because they want to stay with their friends & have access to their wards/plots!) Oh look a fate!

Nah. Things like party members disappearing or being unable to target the boss mob have been around since 2.0 at the very least. They cherry pick what to reply to/about.

Why do you assume that they can reply to everything to begin with? Maybe they simply have no clue how to solve that issue. Maybe they will be able to have a better look at it on a later date, which means that saying anything about it if the situation changes is pointless.
Or maybe they think that since it'll resolve itself when less and less people will do Eureka, that it's not worth adressing. I mean, aren't people saying that "Eureka will die like Diadem did"? That's a rhetorical question.

And you are yourself cherry picking that particular issue which isn't really related to Eureka itself but is a known game engine issue. You are willingly ignoring all the other actual Eureka feedback which takes time to review just to make your point.

I mean, the lastest issue about people using Ungarmax was covered in great details by Yoshi-P himself, who made really long posts explaining everything he could. It was really good communication. So I don't think it's fair to assume that they don't want to communicate. It's most likely that they can't, because of a lot of reasons such as uncertainty and the time it takes to review that kind of stuff.

I kinda like it.. though I'll admit, I enjoyed it more when it was the first day, and about a group finding a spot they liked, and fighting enemies. It reminded me of my days of sitting in Valkrum dunes and grinding with people and meeting new friends. Then it became the endless NM hunt and while I still enjoy that... It's not nearly as engaging as chatting with my group and just fighting.

Edit: I'd like to point out that while the actual content is just "Fighting" over and over again, which in itself isn't very engaging, I like the elemental wheel which is interesting (I wish they gave more magicite rather than it taking forever to get anything useful), and meeting new people and chatting with them is fun. I find it to be almost more of a social environment than an innovative game content environment. Which I know isn't exactly what people want but I enjoy the social aspect.

Do you have an idea of what happened to xi with years? there is but a small improvement on our end (the community) to the ratio of enix perception of improvement imo. Yes Apologies are nice, yes they are acknowledging us, and in some case there is positive results, but if you want to speak about core problems, well let me have at it. The core problem of the issues is...........drumrolls...... Game Patches to an expansion pack!.That is something mmo games do as a generalized statement, & if I pinpoint our ff chitchat here well that started before xiv, I personally wasn't happy with it when it became more popular to outdate content, but ill say this at least back then there was a feeling of success upon clearing content of a patch like hmmm idk unlocking a zone from uuuuhhhh wiping the same fight over & over & over again for 1month+ to gain access? That was achievement & it stood as a retained feeling, nowadays you can buy a % of content cleared,not to mention a false number..., welcome mandragora buds in eureka! I mean to defend this as I cant fully bash, I understand this for a second character but even there I walked the long path for it. I have seen the player base getting crushed over several years & enjoyable content getting destroyed to add discountinuation juuust like irl with cheap products that see the light to this day, cheaper production cost wise, faster breaking, just a better look at that in the end, lets just say that a washing machine will end up shredding you some new glamours.

Ps:Back in the days a washing machine would last 20years (On paper now more than 75%imo (I could be wrong... as I'm unallowed specific numbers & Who am I to speak right? Not to say 90/98%+) Most washing machine are worth like 7years (electronical) I wont give prices but in the end this is just to say that for a little bit more you could get one that last 20years with 5 years warranty, but because most ppl wanna pay less (& doing maths its not worth it) because ppl dont want to pay a bit more then they get a machine that last 7years & on the long run they pay more & they only get 2years of warranty. (Why the example? Because its soo nice to have your washing machine break 7years later & then of course you try to repair it & it doesn't work because its the whole electronic board that is programmed against you, while the good old washing machine that you threw in the trash way back would of been simply fixed for another 10years) or you know pay 100$ more for x3 the lifetime of an electronic machine with a brand new manual one

And the fireworks...those can stay in the lower level content and events. They honestly aren't worth the inventory bloat that they cause.

But even in this very thread there hasbeen people who stated they hate it but are only doing it because they know it will die off soon and it will be hard to catch up. The same happened with both versions of Diadem as people rushed to do it to get the rewards before it died off rapidly, all the while stating how much they hated what we got. And there is a severe lack of communication if there are a dozen threads about how Eureka is a Diadem clone and just not fun, yet the only thing we get any acknowledgement of is about excess fireworks in lockboxes. I'm not asking for them to address a whole redesign, I'm asking for the simplest acknowledgement that they know people are complaining about more than just some stupid fireworks.

The devs have a long history of screwing up; see Diadem both times. And again you have no proof it's the vocal minority. And again you misrepresent what I have said to fit the narrative you want.

I highlighted your last sentence because it is probably the most ironic thing I've seen someone write in my life. Eureka took 17 months, it was delayed and literally not rushed yet is crap. We were told they had learned from Diadem and would give us something new. This is not new, it is Diadem for the third time.

I keep telling the person you are replying to that, and he keeps blaming the playebase for overhype, he does not listen. Anyways thank you for your post, it is nice seeing other reasonable people around here.

You are cherry picking my post. How do I know this? Because in that same post of mine you quoted in literally the next line I go on to explain how people doing it =/= people liking it.
