Dual hand guns so players can go guns blazing. Won't mind at all if its melee oriented and need positionals. Would be way better than sitting back firing rounds, pew pew alongside turret with current mch.
Personally I would like to see a gypsy (since dancer fits healers more) magic support caster cls playing flutes and singing songs. While focused on buffs/debuffs they must not get res/heal to avoid rdm/smn comparisons. Instead combo cls skills would be an interesting design-mechanic for ff14 at all - f.e combo skills with brd songs or (if we ever get them) dancer performances <3
Ragnarok Online did that very well back in the days with Bard & Dancer Cls and their combo-songs, they were an important part of endcontent like War of Emperium (Mass PvP) or MVP Hunting (Boss Fates/Primals) - this could work perfectly in savage as well I think : o
else 150% for this:
<3Dual hand guns so players can go guns blazing.
That dual gun job been a huge demand since 1.0 content, i am amazed that it has not even considered as a New DPS Job yet for this long.
Dual handguns won't happen, we have MCH.
Whatever it is......No More Swords pls
Sword and Gun, sounds very Bloodborn, I like it
I'd really like to see more Blunt weapons though, like Hammers or a Quarterstaff.
Another idea that I've always liked is a class that can summon a variety of weapons (think Elder Scrolls weapon summon spells); though I've no idea how that would fit into FFXIV.
Failing all that, Catmancer; can't possibly go wrong with Catmancer.
Spiritwalker / Shaman : Ritual Knife, Hammer, Beads (?)
Salvemaker : Toolbelt
Magiteck tank (Reaper?) : Gunblade
Ranger / Beasttamer : Whip, Crossbow
A word of caution when saying these type of things. After all, people said these same words before Rogue/Ninja was confirmed to be a separate job because "dagger" was a "Gladiator/Paladin" weapon back then.
Sword/Gun combo has not always been Bloodborn related but it was a common weapon of choice for characters based on being Demon Hunters in certain games, Pirates, and/or Modern Assassins.

There are dozens of bladed weapons, but a hand gun is a hand gun.
I can imagine a "gun" being incorporated in other weapons, the obvious option being a gunblade, even though mch already has a gun that for appearance has a blade on it.
But not just more handguns, and certainly not as another ranged physical DPS.
