What's your first impression of Eureka?

...I find it hilarious how many people are complaining, but then again, this requires the old fashioned grind mindset you'd have back at WoW launch, this is some actually time demanding content, unlike the constant weekly handholding 14 has done till now. It ain't for everyone, I agree, the fact it's purely for glamours and the like is problematic, sure, but I've only solo'd till now and find it a great way to just throw something on in the background and just grind without much to worry about. Lol, implying Eureka is not handholding. Something that takes a long time from having arbitrary count of items does not define what is hand holding. FFXIV in general is handholding, outside hiding weapon tome upgrades behind menu mazes. Eureka is hand holding, it tells you where to go, what to do, follow the scary face fate icon on the map, etc.

Alright, after a few days of trying it out, my thoughts:

- This is NOT solo friendly content. Gaining xp is long enough in a party, I can't imagine how long it will take to level alone. The hp bloated monsters 2-3 shot at my level (potion mashing and all), and chaining them, again, will take so long it's ridiculous. To top it off, the threat of losing an obscene amount of xp WHEN you die, if you can't call for some god-sent healer to come save you? Seriously, calling this solo friendly content is a flat out lie.
