Actually, Eureka is not a main quest. It’s completely optional.

This entire game is completely optional, if we're gonna look at it that way. Living is completely optional. Nobody is forcing you to do that.
Still, if we have it, even if it's "optional", why not make a GAME actually fun? "It's a MMO" doesn't cut it as an answer because that's the biggest strawman response.

I agree, things should be fun, and varied, but trying to make an argument based on the idea that something isn't optional when in fact it 100% is...it's just kinda silly.

Yes and no. Main quests lead to all the content so you’re gimping yourself by not progressing those. People are acting like Eureka has to be progressed when it is 100% optional and leads to nothing. Weapons in there are even weaker so you’re severely gimping yourself.

Don't all relic weapons start out lower than anything else that has been released at that point? Pretty sure the HW relic was lower than the highest available when it started.

Pretty much Relics were made for people who don't do end game raiding and such, or like myself just for fun of achievement and shiny new toy for glamor later on :P they all start as low level however completing allows you to skip steps like it did with Zodiac wep to Anima. For now +2 weapons in Eureka are needed to view the next step Anemos weapons. Having an Anima weapon will save you some step. I'm hoping to complete my +2 weapon today and hopefully an Anemos by the end of the week based on requirements.
