Nothing compared to ff11, in ff11 stuff was useful, Eureka's stuff is already obsolete so what is the point to farm for "nothing"

O wow seems you already got the +2 weapons and such , can you please share what you found out are the stats of those menus that we all can't access yet? Being you obiously cleared content of eureka reached lvl 20 and got at least one job +2 and above right? Oh wait or do you mean you only looked at current menus and not the ones that need the +2 in order to access?
Why do people Judge day one with out understanding this -.- well makes sense based on some answers I've seen here and other threads.

Its called datamining. All the stats, models, and ilvls were known within hours of being able to download the patch. The +2 weapon only gets to 355, so people buying the 360 weapons this week already have a better weapon for a fraction of the time spent.O wow seems you already got the +2 weapons and such , can you please share what you found out are the stats of those menus that we all can't access yet? So the answer is no, they may head in that direction, maybe based on gear paired with weapon will have hidden stats, or raise ilvl above what is offered being it's such a grind? Maybe they finally listened and want to give relics the proper place as the most powerful weapon in the game or above par with endgame raids? Who knows? only one way to find out right? " Look forward to it" Judging it as a day one thing with out actually maxing it out is more of an ignorant answer. While it may have a negative perspective for most who are use to easy things we really can't judge until we have seen it maxed out right? Guess it's up to the player to brush it off and see or give up without really starting.

10 kill byakko = ilvl 355 weapon
loooong eureka farm = ilvl 355
Byakko give same, faster.
And i think there is more fun in killing 10 time byakko than spending endles hours in this.
in 4.38 relic will reach 375 (because... Yoshida said relic weapon wouldnt have more ilvl than end game content for example?)
in 4.4, new weapon 405, a 390 weapon to buy, a primal with around 390 (maybe 395?) and relic will probably have to wait to level again more.
How do i know this? i just watched what was for ARR (2.2+)/HW relics
In FFXI, relics weapon stayed in your hand for... months not weeks
Q: Will there be any maintenance fees or other costs for housing, besides the cost of the land and house?
A: [...]these older MMOs also had a system where your house would break down if you didn’t log in after a while in order to have you continue your subscription, but this is a thing of the past and we won't have any system like that.
There's so much wrong with what you said I don't even know how to address it, but I'll somehow try.So the answer is no, they may head in that direction, maybe based on gear paired with weapon will have hidden stats, or raise ilvl above what is offered being it's such a grind? But simply put you seem to not have a grasp on how this game works. There's nothing hidden with these weapons. There's no hidden or bonus stats. Not only do we know this because again, the weapon data has been data mined, but because the devs have stated time and again they don't want to add that sort of system to gear. This is no surprise and been talked to death for years.
The difference between my arguments and yours are mine have evidence to back them up. We know about the gear because of data mining. We know there's nothing special because devs have constantly said so and seem afraid to do anything beyond the same old vertical gear grind. Everything you have said is utter speculation that ignores how the game has been developed for the past 5 years.

people keep saying this, but its only half true. Eventually, if past evidence is anything to go by, the long term project will be well worth it.
Huh. I've never considered any of the relics to be worth it. If you aren't doing it for glamour, it's just a waste of time. They become obsolete way too fast.

In HW, the last step of the relic weapon was the best IIRC.
In the beginning stages of the Game, the i90 weapon relic weapon and the twintania drop were the same until the twintania weapon was patched to i95.
Beyond that, they were always just under the raid weapon. Not everyone is going to be able to get the clears to get a top raid tier weapon and/or dont like to raid. so this is a great alternative/placeholder for the best.
The one sticking point to me is what does it add to you the player besides better stats after all the grind? Same can be said about the raid weapons. yes u get better main stat and more desired stats on the best weapons... but it all just seams like if its gunna be straight ilevel tiers (as it always has been) this is a viable alternative in the long run
Yes, but if you don't raid, you also don't need the weapon. So there's still no real worth there. But whatever floats your boat.
