So Eureka is basically a nicer version of XI? The penalties aren't nearly as harsh as it was in XI. At least I can finally shout," Gobs to Zone!"

I blame the modern generation of MMOs. Compared to old school it's far less effort required to get to the top. Eureka feels like homage to that, and I for one appreciate it.
Despite this, I feel SE will probably reduce crystal costs and stuff eventually due to mass complaints about how long it takes.
P.S. RNG honestly doesn't feel that bad to me, even at low levels. Could do without the prisms from lockboxes though...

I don't really mind the RNG crystals too much since they'll supposedly drop much more (possibly 100%?) at lvl 20. My problem has to do with the leveling system. The exp gains are very, very, VERY low. I don't mind leveling, or that leveling takes time. But...there's a difference between taking awhile and straight up insanity. This is the latter, not the former. Though, if people (myself included) weren't punished for helping out other groups or people, that might solve a good bit of it. If they want us to grind mobs, I think we should at least be able to have some fun with it. Honestly I find grinding with just a group of 8 in 1 spot is fine. So many groups out there right now that it can be a bit tough to find a spot not taken already. Now if I'm playing as a healer and come across someone dead I'll revive them, or if someone is running away from a mob and I'm with a group we could grab it, but otherwise it's mainly just find fresh meat with your group and let other groups do the same without collision.
