It's shameful that Bard is now a more reliable Esuna user than actual healers themselves, by merit of the stupid healer role action system.

On that note it stinks that they put eye for eye in the role actions too because it's only spreadable by scholars via one of our longest cooldowns. Yeah, other healers could use it too before. But that went for a lot of old actions (like stoneskin) it was still only able to reach its full potential by being spread with a adlo via deployment tactics.

Well I mean if you had opened with actual advice instead of... You know what nevermind.

Anyways as for the healer esuna thing I literally just carry it with me all the time because I can never remember when it's not needed and I'd hate to be without, I only just recently got into the habit of switching out protect when it's not needed though. I think I had a healer who forgot to put it on or didn't expect to need it in my expert though, fractal hard and they never cured the slow on me from the first boss... I had to run into the mine thingy it left behind, i had just cast leylines in that spot ; - ;

I just want to point out one thing: I've rarely heard of a party who will sit down to allow someone to read their tooltips and even if they did, if someone doesn't specify which tooltip to read, they might find said person starts reading all of them. Better to point out skills right there and then that the person can use.

Also, if you notice your party dps in pulls are weak, adjust the pulls. There's no need to strain yourself into speeding up things with mass pulls when others can't keep up. You're more likely to wipe the group or having to perform way beyond what's expected just to survive.

Decided to clear up my roulettes before I joint in Eureka hype and went in Qarn HM as WAR with SCH, SAM, and RDM. Except for SAM having sprout on their head, everyone was level synced. No bonus either, mind.

I started by pulling every mob to the door but I quickly noticed my HP falling down so quickly, despite me using 2 CDs and 3 Steel Cyclone and the SCH keep spamming their heals, at one point even used Swiftcast+Physick. I died, and the rest of the party followed suit. I checked the SCH gear and sighed.

Left side : all Ironworks except the pants were still from job quest reward.
Weapon : HQ Crafted Moogle Tome
Right side : Ala Mhigan Earrings, Aetheryte Ring, Weathered Ring, and 2 accessories
from Dusk Vigil

This isn't a new player, as their search info shows some 70s. I kinda get it if you don't upgrade your gears if you're levelling in POTD, but if you want to start running dungeons, at least make sure your gears are appropriate.

Not that I defend the healer but are you sure it was her fault...? O.O
Quan HM has ilv synced at ilv80 so I don't think 2 rings can cause the wiped of the party.
We even had lower ilv than her back then when this dungeon first released in 2.0.
You mentioned that her spamming healing spell that mean you didn't die from lack of healing.
I suggest that you died because you HP ran out to fast or DPS didn’t dpsing hard enough for the size you pulled.

Thank you, that’s what I was looking for...not just scatter. I’d use flèche whenever it’s up too

Also, i stopped doing “big pulls” after the 2nd pack (the one right before first boss)
The one I was referring to was 2nd pull after 2nd boss (the one with a coffin looking mob and a bunch of zombies)

You really are confusing people.
Its just a bit obvious - if the mana gauge is full you use the right melee spell for the right job.

50-60 is kinda bad for gearing alt and most want to push to 60 asap and buy 260 gear from Idyllshire.

50-60 is as easy gearing up like 60-70.
RobinMalvin is right, with the right side you shouldn't queue up for dungeons. If you have this gear equiped (exept for the Ironworks parts) better go Potd where current equiped gear doesn't matter and level until 60. You can do Potd naked with your starter weapon.

The Ala Mhigan Earrings are outdated, because he's synced down (so he's beyond level 50), the one ring looked like the Brand-new Ring with the exp 30% until level 30. The weapon could be better (Ironworks) but sufficient for this dungeon. The other ring is for sure some sub 50 buyable from npc.

Think of it: maybe the player does also leveling roulette and he's maybe level 53 and you'll meet him with this setup at Sohm Al (even Dusk Vigil would be worse) or Alliance Roulette WoD...

DPS wasn't exactly top notch and not even fast true, but the thing is, I died before my CDs (Rampart+Thrill of Battle) even expired and by spamming heals, I mean they spam Physick continuously; no Lustrates.

And yes, the rings AND the earrings can be trouble, especially since one of the rings doesn't offer MND bonus, the other only offers +1, and the earrings only +5 and they're above 50 so EXP bonus is moot. I also stopped pulling big after that one wipe and even then the heals I received was low, barely hitting 900 per Physick which was the only healing spell they gave me.

Its not hard to gear you just have to pay money and nobody wants to waste 100k+ gil for a roulette everyday. That's why I said its kinda bad.
