By all rights a mod should be here right now locking this thread and others involved and disciplining the necromancers. If that had happened this conversation would not be happening. I am honestly awaiting their arrival to quell this farce. In the meantime I exercise my right as a forum user to complain against the necromancy taking place, and I am not alone.

And I will exercise my right as a forum user to tell you you're being a busybody and making a mountain out of a molehill.

If I knew how to contact a mod directly I would be doing that instead.

Yep. You would go that far out of your way...instead of scrolling by on the New Posts page instead. You sure you don't actually enjoy this? You seem like you want to spend an awful lot of time, and your limited 20 posts per day, here.

You can try to spin it around all you want but you are in the wrong and you know it.

If she's in the wrong, you're in the wrong. If it's wrong to necro a thread, it's wrong to keep posting in it like you're doing right now. If she's a troll, you're a troll, and there is no spinning it any other way.

Your attempts to defend this farce are generating said arguments you know. Some things are best left forgotten, and bumping years old threads is not the best way to try to bring positivity to the forums. It's just spam...

And you're no better. You're not even trying to justify playing at forum cop, while keeping this "farce" of a thread on the front page. You're a real one man army, ya know that? lol

Well if you haven't done any necros and don't plan to then you have nothing to worry about do you not? And trying to antagonize those that are attempting to address the necromancy makes you guilty by association as you are basically defending the necromancy. After all, why add to a fire you have nothing to do with?

Come on. Don't try to act like this isn't some game that everyone decided to join in on. That's the point of Joe's first post in here: it's gotten out of hand. Quite a few people are now filling up the forum with pointless threads, which is burying the actually current threads.

Which, like Joe, you just added to. If it really bothered you so much, why not ignore it and hope it dies? And if you're really going to "silently report", why would you utterly fail at the silent part and post in one of the necro threads that you're reporting them?

If you really wanted to discuss such things why not simply consolidate them into a single thread, as has been stated already? That would not involve spam, not involve bumping dead threads, and can be positive in reception. Instead you tried it the least optimal way.

What would the difference have been, practically speaking? There would still be a new thread on the front page that one could or could not look at depending on their mood. People could still join it, and derail it as you've admitted to doing, and spread a bunch of negativity. Maybe they wouldn't have been able to pretend to be Forum Cop while doing so.

Also the expression you keep using is actually more of an accurate statement towards the pile of necro'd threads. 1 or 2, not a big deal. 3 or 4, that's the molehill. As many as we have so far? Mountain. Can you blame me for trying to keep it from growing anymore than it has? Me and the others equally concerned about the flood of dead threads.
