Well, if you want people to believe what you say, there should at least be something to show for it. But judging from the other posts, that isn't happening. So Miste and the others are clears winners in that WP Hard doom mechanic.

It doesn't work that way. Doom is removed by healing, not by facing away. It is not applied by a gaze attack.

Your "experience" is incorrect. As mentioned the boss even tells you how the mechanic works.

I mean, if your biggest issue in life is someone has doom and you don't want to cast 1 cure to save them, I'd love to have your lifestyle right now. Sounds so much simpler and has much less duty issues.

Sorry, YMMV doesn't work in a case where the attack isn't a gaze and does not happen that way. You are incorrect, just accept that. In your own words, maybe you should look at your own life if you can't accept that you are wrong in an instance where it has been proven to you.

I wouldn't call it my biggest issue, it was more of a thematic issue due to the thread we're both posting in....

Maybe I didn't specify enough, was keeping the tank and other dps alive, I play triage when someone either doesn't listen, or is standing in the "fire" so to speak. Beside that, its peachy keen

It is not a gaze attack. You are the first person ever who thinks it is a gaze attack, or there would have been mentions of it prior to this instance. And considering you are the only person in this thread who has "experienced" it as such, I would say that the multitude of voices claiming otherwise, which much more time spent in the game, would be correct.

It's not a gaze effect. That's a healer mechanic - a healer has to top off whomever gets the doom debuff. Somebody is going to get hit with doom regardless of whether they are looking at the boss or not. Run it again unsynced and get hit with the mechanic...you'll see that it'll kill you if you don't get healed.
