Lots of folks are calling you out on being wrong...mayhap it would be best to just admit you were wrong on some aspects instead of continuing to argue? With wrong info, I might add.

Point being, I did research, so I was prepared for either, heaving to heal a person to full and dealing with dodging the effect to begin with. There's nothing ignorant about being informed. Nice try though.

You keep saying you did research, and knew to heal a person to full once they got doom, and yet:

Was healing WP on hard, and was doing lovely (I love healing as a Scholar)....got to the end boss who has probably the easiest Doom avoidance mechanic ever (turn away from him when he's casting it). Apparently the sole dps with multiple lvl 70's didn't know this, and was angry I ignored him to heal the tank. #Shrug...triage order; Tank > Dps with rez > Dps.

So you knew that the doomed player needed heals, and so you chose to ignore him and the obvious boss mechanic.

Look, we're all wrong now and then. Being able to own up to your mistakes instead of blaming others is a fantastic quality to have. The only reason I'm posting now is you continue to post and blame others for missing obvious mechanics and scapegoating, but you are doing the same thing.

I'm not sure you noticed, but the final boss's dialogue in WP HM literally hints on how the doom mech is handled when he firsts casts it. And this dialogue alone kinda proves you wrong.

And I believe the reason you "never got hit by that mechanic" is either you got lucky with rng, or the heals hitting you must have taken doom out of you without you noticing.

I've soloed that dungeon multiple times for relic, it's not buggy it acts exactly the same every time. You get the status and you heal yourself and it's gone or you die.

Being as you claim otherwise the responsibility is on you to prove otherwise. If it is so readily available should be fairly easy to provide a link or some proof. If I recall even when asked before the video proving you otherwise you simply said you how it works which goes against what others have shown. I mean if you can simply provide proof that looking away works then a lot of people would not be able to say shit about your claim. You sort of strike me as the type of person that would not shy away from proving people wrong. Figure the lulz you would get for proving everyone that looking away works. That would be savage.

Miste is getting upvoted a lot for her posts because she proves with her video evidence about WP Hard's doom mechanic. You little little to no likes on your posts because you have yet to show the concrete evidence that supports your claim of the said doom mechanic.

In all fairness, he may very well have been lagging. I was having lag last night myself, and it only occurred during duties for some reason. Sometimes you don't know your Net is acting up until you join in a duty and realize your skills aren't going off; especially if you tend to idle in the overworld while waiting for a queue.

No one was lagging during the run...he never dc'ed or exhibited any kind of behavior, if you have shotty internet, don't run a trial. But he was just a symptom of the overall disease that were those last 3 runs.

You said looking away works, other have proven otherwise yet you still claim that the action of looking away work when in reality it does not. I mean did you not insist is a buggy gaze mechanic? Which may or may not be true, others have proved otherwise yet you still claim that looking away is all one needs to do. To be honest if there is another way of handling that mechanic I am sure people would be interested in knowing. Do not think of it as an ego trip but you helping the community out. One simple video showing that looking away works is all people need, since out of this entire thread I do not think one person has be able to confirm that looking away itself works.

When one makes a claim that goes against the what is perceived to be factual why not provide proof that supports your claims. Other have supported their claims why do you refuse to do so? Instead you say it ego stroking since someone called you out on your bullshit? You seem to not want to admit you are wrong, so prove everyone else that a possible disparity is present and that the act of looking away in itself is enough to avoid the mechanic as a whole.

Either way I truly am interested in seeing if it works since I have tried it and simply cannot get it to work so if possible care to explain how you got it to work. No need to take it as a attack, instead view it as providing helpful information to the community that can be used as information to give to new players when they do their research regarding the mechanic in question. If the guides many players have been watching are wrong provide proof so the community can get proper information to avoid issues like this in the future. I mean you seem to be pro information so why are you unwilling to help correct this misinformation found from the major guides on youtube.

Well, if you want people to believe what you say, there should at least be something to show for it. But judging from the other posts, that isn't happening. So Miste and the others are clears winners in that WP Hard doom mechanic debate.
