Exactly, i would of been less frustrated if they would of just kick early mid dungeon, but instead you waste 25 minutes of my personal time just to fool me, that is a extremely rude move on your end.

And it wasn't rude to let the role of tanking be shared across the group and completely ignore any attempts to remedy this?

i would of simply left then, also it doesn't matter anymore i found another group and finished it perfectly just fine.

The way you are apparently playing, with Shield Loop as your favorite skill isnt "finishing dungeons perfectly just fine".
It would have been another group stuck with a tank apparently unable to tank - you seem to have at least understood that, which is good!

But the attitude of "some other group wouldnt have minded carry me through the dungeon" is rude itself, sorry.

I Never said i was being carried infact i took of most the damage, i don't see why you keep replying to this thread when your going continuously lie about something that's not true, you weren't there when it happened to begin with.

"Most of the damage"? Except for raid-wide AoEs and AoEs people are supposed to move out off, you're supposed to take all the damage.
That is your role as a tank: Draw the attention of all mobs onto you, take all the damage they're dealing and make sure your DPS and healer can focus on their buisness without being disturbed by mobs.

Edit: To add to this: Melee-DPs like Dragoon, Ninja, Samurai and Monk have certain skills that need to be performed from a certain direction - that can only work if the mob doesnt move, aka: if a tank keeps it still. Attacks from mobs can interrupt casts - which is very bad for casters and healers. Ranged DPS is kinda squishy, so they dont want to deal with mobs either. Thats why its so important that a tank picks everything up, keeps it still and aggro on him. (And yes, you can finish dungeons without a tank, healer or dps missing - but that always means that the rest of the party steps up. And if every role is present, why should we find workarounds instead of expecting everyone to actually perform their given role?)
