People are giving you helpful advice. Take it or expect to see more situations like this crop up. 50+ content takes a basic undsrstanding of your class especially as a tank or a healer.

Oh okay also yes i know how to do the combo set, i mainly didn't use it because i didn't think it would be that effective. Are you really only using those three actions? At 50 you get Hallowed Ground or Circle of Scorn. You should not be using only those three/four actions (Shield Lob, Hallowed or Circle of Scorn, Flash).
Lob the group, flash about as many times there are # of enemies, and you spread your Rage of Halone combo set (Fast Blade -> Savage Blade -> Rage of Halone).
Yeah and thats your problem right there, that makes you look like a troll...
Shield loop is used to engage enemies - use it once to pull them.
Continue to use Flash - depending on your gear and the gear of your DPS, I'd recommend something between 2-4 times. That establishes aggro and makes sure you're actually tanking instead of the mobs eating your DPS's faces off.
Once you have established aggro, use either your standard combo (as has been explained by the person you brushed off as "rude" and "toxic" - Fast Blade -> Riot Blade -> Rage of Halone. You'll get additions to those combos later on.) or, depending on group/pull-size Eclipse.
Use Circle of Scorn whenever its of Cooldown. Same goes for Spirits Within.
Use your Cooldowns when you can - dont burn all at once, but rather circle through them.
And dont dismiss help that quickly and actually in such a rude way because you believe you know better while ignoring basically all of your skills and are failing to do your job as tank, which is to keep aggro.
I'm sorry if I'm coming off as rude right now, but I'll admit my sympathy is running quite low considering your attitude here.

The basic combo set is your best single-target aggro grab, while Flash is your best group aggro generator. A flash or two plus Circle of Scorn (your AoE attack that applies a Damage over Time effect to each enemy hit) will be enough to keep most mobs while you then go into Fast Blade --> Savage Blade --> Rage of Halone for more damage/better aggro generation, and tab between enemies to keep it on all of them pretty well.
Shield Lob is good as your first attack as it insures all the enemies in a group attack you first, but you shouldn't need it much once you have a group in place.
You may need to use Flash more when playing with higher-leveled players since their gear is probably much more up-to-date compared to yours, though of course it depends on the group/what gear you have. For now if you are running Poetics gear (which is ilvl120/130 gear) you should be fine though.
This mostly sounds like you were just not completely sure of how the combo parts worked, which is mostly coming down to experience/experimentation/people who are willing to help without getting mad(which it looks like a bunch of us here are trying to do).
The combos are going to be best when completed(always double check tooltips, partially to set your hotkeys for smooth use and so you know what will be buffed by using each skill). Whenever you are unsure, try finding a striking dummy in a residential district(some FCs/private houses have them, and some don't care if you use it without asking...but if someone is there, ask first just in case) to test out your skills. It might not be the most effective way, but it will help you see how much an individual skill does versus what it gets combo-ed with.

You'll want to use it. It's far more effective than not using it. When you use Fast Blade, the next button in the combo will light up, so you know which one to use next. Follow through with that for a large damage and enmity increase.
(Riot Blade will also light up, which is part of another combo you get at 60.)

There are a few guides laying around but you will see what does most 'potency'. That partly means it will do the most damage, and for you as the tank, it will do a lot more in keeping hate/enmity/agro.
At 50, you will use the Rage of Halone combo the most. Spreading use of Flash Circle of Scorn and Spirits Within, using Circle of Scorn whenever you can. You use the Fast Blade > Riot Blade to make up MP when you have established control over the enemies. Spirits Within depends on the fight but for running through trash, use it whenever you have it. I say it depends because some enemies need to be 'silenced' for more efficient time and Spirits Within will silence things.
