Thank you guys! I'll move some furniture to the saddlebag just to be safe when I get some more stuff sold.
I have items growing in my garden, I assume I need to harvest it first?

You can put the garden in your store room and it will suspend the growing, and then you can plop it back out. At least, I'm fairly certain that's how it works. I know flower vases kept their flowers across relocations.

I have a question about this. A friend asked me but I have no idea. She has a neighbor who has had the same sparkly plants in their yard for weeks now (she's told me she would go check weekly), so is it safe to assume the garden patch can get suspended indefinitely if you put it in storage and then take it back out?
Presumably it would keep ready-to-harvest plants suspended in that state as well, since I'm not even sure that the server could read to change phases on it (from ready-to-harvest to dead).I have a question about this. With 4.0, plants that reach the 'ready to harvest' sparkly stage will no longer wilt so they can be left like that forever. It's only for that phase though, if you don't tend to them while they're in the growing stage they will go purple and then die if still not tended.I have a question about this. Oh, I thought that only applied to pots. Nice change. Though I could have sworn I saw the mansion across from us lose a whole set of gardens of shards...they were ready to harvest for a while then weren't sparkly. Maybe I was hallucinating idk. With 4.0, plants that reach the 'ready to harvest' sparkly stage will no longer wilt so they can be left like that forever. They likely just replaced the shards in that case. They grow pretty quickly so I could see how it'd look like something went awry.![]()
Wow, I never knew this and 4.0 has been out for how long? XDWith 4.0, plants that reach the 'ready to harvest' sparkly stage will no longer wilt so they can be left like that forever. Storage stretches to 400 inside, 40 outside when you relocate, so going from a small to anything else you won't reach that limit. As far as the garden goes it will just go into storage and be in a stasis mode. Everything will still be planted in it, but the growth process will not progress until you set it back down in the yard.
Not true. I had 300 items in my home and about 10ish in my storage when I went to relocate and was unable to until I removed ten items for the exact 300. Only then was I allowed to relocate. So anyone relocating needs to make sure they've got enough room in their storage (inside and outside) for all their furnishings.Storage stretches to 400 inside, 40 outside when you relocate, so going from a small to anything else you won't reach that limit.
