Wow, I never knew this and 4.0 has been out for how long? XDWith 4.0, plants that reach the 'ready to harvest' sparkly stage will no longer wilt so they can be left like that forever. It's only for that phase though, if you don't tend to them while they're in the growing stage they will go purple and then die if still not tended.
Thanks for the info!![]()
Storage stretches to 400 inside, 40 outside when you relocate, so going from a small to anything else you won't reach that limit. As far as the garden goes it will just go into storage and be in a stasis mode. Everything will still be planted in it, but the growth process will not progress until you set it back down in the yard.
Not true. I had 300 items in my home and about 10ish in my storage when I went to relocate and was unable to until I removed ten items for the exact 300. Only then was I allowed to relocate. So anyone relocating needs to make sure they've got enough room in their storage (inside and outside) for all their furnishings.Storage stretches to 400 inside, 40 outside when you relocate, so going from a small to anything else you won't reach that limit. What size house were you moving from and was that 300 between storage & inside placement or just placed inside the home? As far as the information given from SE goes, you're supposed to be able to move as long as the total doesn't go over 400 inside and 40 outside if you were to move everything in those areas to storage before moving since it squishes everything in there when moving. Not true. Go to: Housing > Estate Settings > [Choose the estate in question] > Storeroom Status
It should give you the information there on how much furniture you have placed in the house as well as in storage. To relocate you'll want a green checkmark next to both Indoor & Outdoor furnishings under Relocation Status
If your total of furniture adding both placed & storage was below 400 inside and 40 outside and it still didn't allow you to move, that sounds like a bug that should be reported.

I was moving from a medium to a medium. I had 293 items placed in the house and approximately 10 in the storage for the house. I had a full yard and about seven outdoor items in storage. I had to remove items from both outdoor and indoor storage until my interior storage was empty and my yard storage was empty and was then able to move. It was also like that for both of my friends that moved from one small location to another small location. Our storage didn't expand, it only allowed for exactly what our housing limits were.It should give you the information there on how much furniture you have placed in the house as well as in storage. I would definitely report that as a bug in the bug forums then as both in-game and out of game information supplied by SE states otherwise. Not true. If his/her house was medium then this isnt a bug because medium house actually have a limit of 300 items for inside stuff and 30 for outside. For more info read my post on previous page.
It's all glazenuts, thav onions, and onion princes, so I'd rather wait it our verses losing all that gil to test it @.@
EDIT: Okay, that's really nice to have implemented.
Thank you muchly, again guys.

100% positive, your plants get suspended and saved during a relocation. I've relocated four times. Lol. It all goes to a cold storage. It's safe. I had numerous jute gardens that we're all saved during relocation.
Few info as i see some people struggle with relocation and limitations:
1. House storage
A) Cottage: inside 200, outside 20
B) House: inside 300, outside 30
C) Mansion: inside 400, outside 40
2. Plants:
- Regardless on growth stage they will end in your storage and once you place them out they will just continue to grow. Same rules apply for flowerpots.
3. House walls (skin)
- If you have district bound walls (e.g. for Goblet) it will change in case you relocate to different residential district. In case of custom walls like Shirogane, Carbuncle, etc. they will adapt to the new house, e.g. small house with Shirogane walls will "stretch" if you relocated to medium or big house.
4. Discount
- The new price will be discounted for 1/3 of the min. price of your old plot. Minimum prices for each size: small 1.488.000 - 1.860.000, medium 7.936.000 - 9.920.000, large 19.840.000 - 24.800.000. The minimum price depends on your old house position.
