    where is the task manager? i cant find it anywhere & i reinstalled the game yesterday.

    Hit ctrl-shift-esc at the same time to bring it up. You might need to click on 'more details' at the bottom to bring up the start up tab they were talking about.

    it hasnt worked, unfortunately.

    What kind of mouse/keyboard do you have? Do you have a controller you can try out and see if you can select something even if it is invisible?

    What Operating System do you have?

    i use windows 10 & have a left handed razer naga.
    i do have a controller, i'll give it a try when i reinstall ff in the morning
