    hi guys, just an update.
    i have cleared the Temporary Internet Files in Internet Explorer (even though i use firefox), i updated the drivers yesterday, reinstalled the game, i have just turned the discord overlay off & i have entered the game.
    fingers crossed the problem has finally been sorted.
    if the previous problem should return, i'll get someone to give my pc a complete clean.
    thanks to everyone who helped with their comments in this thread & to others with similar problems, i hope everything works out well.

    Thank you for the update imjustahealer.

    I'm glad you were able to find a resolution. While we are not certain, a lot of players have been having issues with the Discord Overlay interfering with the game. As of right now, having this overlay off (and other overlays for that matter) is recommended.

    This thread will be moved to the 'Support Center Resolved' subforum as the thread creator has found a resolution to their issue.
