In fact, for O5s, Yoshi-P mentioned in the last live letter that it is a viable strategy that they did to foresee, and it will not be adjusted.

There's a video up on reddit of it being used for 06s.I don't disagree. Hell, I even dislike the idea of Echo being implemented into extremes and savage fights at all. I should've clarified, I suppose.
My arguement was only ever that "It really isn't that bad for stuff you've seen and cleared a hundred times already."
Be that Sastasha, or The Vault, or the Creator.
And in terms of old content i dont agree with exploits. How are new ever players even gonna get proper experience like older players?Unsycing old content is what leads to level 70 players running away from the stack marker because they never had to learn the mechanic.

Are they using the Ungarmax LB there, or are they just switching from level 1 to level 70 gearsets before the boss is pulled to heal critical HP and build an LB gauge faster? I saw the video and read the comments, but I wasn’t able to actually watch it because hooray campus internet!

Both, actually. They get first tier lb they use on ungarmax, and reach absurd numbers on ACT... Everyone is above 10k, and the party is above 80k for a dozen seconds, and that's... Hilarious, but ridiculous. Would have fit Kefka well, though x)Are they using the Ungarmax LB there, or are they just switching from level 1 to level 70 gearsets before the boss is pulled to heal critical HP and build an LB gauge faster? Good lord. ._. Yeah, I do wonder if the developers will address this. I only heard about this exploit this week, so it's all news to me. But to be around for 4-5 months and nothing has been done about it... hmm. Makes me wonder how many groups did use it in Deltascape or Ultimate.

Honestly, I feel like it should stay. With a nerf to the damage up, of course. Let it be a whole party buff depending on who's using it. Or have it be personal limits that build up as much as normal limits.
Tank: (To be thought of later)
Melee: 15% more damage for 15s
Ranged: Remove all detrimental effects(status effects, Damage over Time), and become immune for 5-10s
Caster: Increased Attack Speed for 15-20s
Healer: High Potency Regen for 20s

I like that idea, Mocita, I feel like this new lb (the melee one at least) could be used in higher performing parties with bigger DPS (because a 1.15 multiplier on damage is more worth it when you have 32k damage than when you have 28k), while the "classic" lb would be of more use for those low performing parties.
Basically, if you say melee lb3 deals 450k damage, tune it so that a party above 32k gains more damage than it would have using the classic lb. In that case, as 32k*15s = 480, you'd need to deal 930 damage while the buff is up to make it worth. So, 930/480 = 1.9375, so it would be a 95% bonus damage for 15s if you used it as a lb3 for example. Then, a party performing at 28k DPS goes from 420k damage to 819k, and using a classic lb3 is more efficient.
(Of course, that'd be only if no one has any kind of burst, because in that case, well, pretty much any boost for 15s is better than a raw damage output, but hey, I'm trying to simplify here. There needs to be proper and more in depth maths here.)
That's technically viable, at that point in time, especially if the "classic melee lb" is tuned so that you always need to do top efficiency dps to make it worth it. It would still deepen the gap between casual players, midcore players and hardcore players, which is... maybe good, maybe bad ? I don't know, I'm just doing basic maths here.
Crescents is right though, it would be useless for those parties in the current difficulty. Maybe in ultimate, but then, there's not so much of a point in it. Well, at least, not enough to make it worth spending too much development time on it.

Stronger incentives to do stuff you, as of yet have not, could certainly be a thing. Beyond the "hey, you get a small bonus of the retro tomestone".
But then, it's been made painfully clear that this is a direction (Learn, git gud, skill, etc) the devs don't want to take it. We were there when they nerfed an already simple fight mechanics wise to the ground with Steps of Faith. We were there when certain actions no longer demanded positionals to grant a combo or a buff. And doubtless we will be there when more stuff gets dumbed down as time marches on.
In the Ungarmax scenario I expressed for older content, I keep it within the realms of 4 / 8 man premades. You know how it is with DF / PF randoms. It's too 50 / 50 for me.
