100% agreed. Mind your own business. " I went into your house and it wasn't designed right, so change it." " Your macro bar isn't like mine, change it. " Who are all these people who complain because they aren't playing the game like them?
YOU need to focus on how YOU play, quite worrying about how everyone else plays. Maybe you shouldve bought the house youre talking about so you could say what goes on with the plot, but you didn't.So, keep your mouth shut about how others pay the game and play your own character. If I see plots without a house constructed since Shirogane opened, I can have an opinion about them. I had forgotten when the auto-demo timer went back into effect. Housing in this game that was intended for people to experience as “part of the game” to be exploited in any way, shape or form is ridiculous. And those that choose to “make millions of gil” in a video game because of a loophole or exploitation need to focus on something else in their life, instead of putting all their self-worth in one video game basket. And I will always champion the homeless ones in this game who have played honestly and want to experience the “housing” part of the game. I will never have sympathy for any that have abused the housing system.
Wow, I thought I'd seen it all, but here's someone defending a person who literally hasn't even built a house on the land. There's a reason Square decided that houses had to be taken back after 45 days of non-use.YOU need to focus on how YOU play, quite worrying about how everyone else plays. While I agree with you to a point, it's hard to be fine with someone who bought a plot and let it sit for weeks and months on end without building anything. There's no point in doing so whatsoever. A couple weeks I could understand, housing is expensive and it's harder for some people to make gil than others. It might take them a little while to obtain the needed amount to build an estate. But any longer than that, possibly months is excessive. They should either relinquish the plot themselves, or maybe SE could "upgrade" the demolition timer to account for how long an estate has gone unbuilt within reason.
I'm confused by this thread. Either the plot is vacant in which case the demo timer will free it up when the time expires or the person is using it in some way. If its vacant then be patient, its not worth complaining over; if it doesn't demo, then its being used and its none of your business. How someone uses their plot is not up to you or anyone else, if they want to waste gil that way thats fine. I think its stupid but its their choice and their gil.
There is a small plot just like this on Ultros in Shirogane. The owner is/was just having fun trolling. He's going to build a house just before the auto demo takes it away, then demolished it again back to a piece of land by itself again. I believe he also owns the plot behind it, and wanted the empty plot to stay empty for better views of his plot behind it, with the house.
You know what? I think you're right - people mustn't be allowed to do whatever they want with their money when it comes to housing. You bought a plot? Build a house goddamit! And decorate the yard! Your empty lot hurts the feelings of the homeless.
I think we also have to go further with this and establish a special housing committee, that will go from door to door and check wherever there is a house built on the owned plot and the yard is decorated. It will also check that yard decoration is at least 80% of the limit. If not, the committee first contacts the owner and warns him about the decoration problem, if that doesn't help, the committee should have the full authority to contact SE and have the house ownership relinquished from the owner to a more responsible person.
lol and HOA fees, and community regulations, and land laws. If you have the wrong trees during the wrong season of the year, strike on your record. No Christmas trees and lights in the middle of April. Time to go all the way! lmao
LOL Unless you pay a persons subscription or own their account you really can't tell people what to do. Funny how people think they can control others actions just because they are part of a community. Just for that I will keep empty lot, nothing irritates more than having a large plot that is empty lol. I know maybe I'll put one decoration lolYou know what?
