Less disappointing and more offensive, since the mount is a big middle finger to everyone who bought the HW collectors edition

...I got the HW CE (and the griffin mount included in it) and it really doesnt feel that way to me...?
I never expected it to be exclusive - and I dont care about it being exclusive either.
Havent gotten the white griffin yet (missed a couple of days) but I'm looking forward to it! I prefer it over the HW-one - and I didnt buy the CE for the mount in the first place...

I guess the Parade Chocobo must be a huge middle finger for those who bought the ARR Collectors Edition, too.
Depending on the type of Collectors Edition you got, it's not much of a middle finger (if physical, you got a bunch of stuff outside of the game). I'm willing to 'forgive' SE on making this griffin available for everyone, as I was pretty miffed about the physical collectors edition being around $300 in Australia.

You can get the griffin by just upgrading to the digital CE, it's not a physical exclusive. I'm not really upset by it. It's not like it was a preorder bonus item.

I just wish that if they wre just gonna give us a bunch of reused assets for rewards, we would have gotten more.

It's not even the only item exclusive to the CE. And, it's a recolor. By all accounts, the Griffin is still locked to the CE.

Good lord, they put an alternative to a Mogstation/CE exclusive purchasable item in the game for anyone to earn just by playing the game.

Isn't this literally the exact thing we want to see happen more iften, verses funneling more items to the cash shop? It's the same thing as the Red Devil verses the MSQ Magitek mount.

My problem with the true griffin mount isn't that it's any sort of "middle finger" to people who bought the CE. It's fine, whatever, I rarely use it and will rarely use its recolor. My issue is we got it as a reward from the ananta's beast tribe as opposed to perhaps some glamour. I know glamour isn't important to everybody, and I'm not saying it should be: my personal disappointment is we got none, and I wanted some.

Exactly, people is focusing in the mount and that was not the problem since the start, is the fact that there's no glamour like in the other tribes, I don't really care if we get one or two mounts, or if one is a recolor of another, I just wanted and waited for my ananta glamour, even if I knew it was not gonna be with a tail, and we got none, that's sad and a bit unfair for me :/

Like I said earlier in the thread, it's still possible (and highly likely imo) that they'll add some Ananta glamours to the vendor. The same thing happened with HW beast tribes. Maybe they ran out of time and/or resources? It's hard to say. I'd give them till at least the next patch though.

While I understand the desire for Ananta-glamour the "like the other tribes"-statment doesnt really hold true - out of the 10 tribes we have, only 3 (Vanu, Gnath, Kojin) recived glamour-options that are giving you the apperance of those tribes.
The Moogles got the slippers and in a sense both Ananta and Ixal are offering some glamour for the hands.

I'm not saying people are wrong asking/wishing for an Ananta-glamour (even though: tail is not gonna happen, kiss that goodbye - at least thats my assumption), but the beast-tribe-costume is not as definite as some of you seem to think it to be.
Look at how all HW and ARR beast tribes gave us two pets instead of one - even if one was only a recolour-version. They're trying new rewards for the beast tribes from time to time - so yeah, probably a good idea to let them know that the costume one was a good idea, but I wouldnt consider it "unfair". Wouldnt be surprised if they thought the Ananta-outfit wasnt intresting enough - seeing how we're having similar tops, skirts and headpieces already and wanted to avoid the "its just a reskin! I want my tail!"-outcry.

I'm disappointed that it was labeled as "Ananta" when it should have been labeled "More of the Resistance that just so happens to feature Ananta"

It was more like "general Ala Mhigo populance" really, though the rank 7 quest does have a bit more focus on the Ananta atleast.
