That isn't true at all. Some of them are very feminine, certainly - but not all of them. Most are quite clearly visibly male though. Furthermore a lot of the more popular male characters are distinctly masculine.

They're simply there to craft a narrative no different than other NPCs that make frequent reappearances each year.
Men are statistically more likely to be assaulted or murdered. Physical strength means little considering someone looking to cause harm isn't going to walk up to you face to face. They'll attack from behind, draw a weapon or have an accomplice. Saying nothing happens to men walking home late at night is not only incredibly narrow-minded but dangerous. Likewise, claiming men have it easy or that women should be perpetually afraid of everything only brings harm to all involved. Please do not parrot any of that nonsense. Everyone should take precautions when in unfamiliar areas, and alone.About the holiday, is to celebrate womens month, so the event is good! For men things are easy on real life. On animes and mmos is the only world that womens have the same genetic physical strength than a men. While if you are a man and walk alone on night on the street in a development country, nothing, simple nothing gonna happen to you! The only thing that a man respect and fear on real life is another men more powerful than him.

I guess I just don't see what the characters have to to do do with the event, and kinda miss the more 'traditional' theme they had a few years back.

While I like the Songbirds, I do also admit it's a bit jarring how most of the LLD in recent years are revolving around them. I realize they're likely popular (and thus the pop idol culture coming into play), but I miss the first couple of years I played where it was about the cherry blossoms or dolls. By no means get rid of the Songbirds, but it'd be nice if some of the more traditional stuff was focused on every other year while they play backburner.

Obviously a “little boys” event would be a horribly tittled event, and FFXIV also seems to lack recourses. I doubt they’d make time for another one.
But if somehow they did I propose we call it “Au Ra master race day.” I kid..
“Gentleman’s Day” would be better.

I like the glowsticks.

Ah yes, when we take aspects of a video game far too seriously.

Well until you remember what "Gentlemen's Club" usually entails![]()

there's a team of rogadyn in sailor outfits in gold saucer for little ladies day events. I think they're like a competing troupe or something
Is this real? I can't tell things between actual bait and ridiculous whining. This forum blurs the line so well.
