Double check your settings in your character chat settings. sometimes it reset

UH well when I first noticed the " change" I clicked on default under sound notifications and nothing changed, still NO sound notifications......................................................

Not sure, not at home to check for you maybe one of the other players who are still at home can check it out and see if there's are working.
