The easier ilvl is to obtain to higher the reqs in PF will be.

The community being filled to the brim with halfwits is not a valid excuse for... anything, really.

Create your own PF, join a PF that isn't full of people looking for a carry, etc. People still post up PFs looking for tanks, that have an ilvl set well above the BiS for tanks. That's just on them.

Yeah man! It's not like I got a static or anything while being broke af and no crafters so I can't make/commission the pieces I need! Also nobody looking for a carry in NA? Please...

If you're "broke af" and you ain't got no crafters, this would seem to imply that you don't use food or stat pots either? You'd think a static would support its members though. /shrug

If you think every PF without a stupidly misguided ilvl requirement is looking for a carry, I dunno what to tell you. I personally find the opposite to be true though.



Regardless, if you or your static feel that burning time in OxN is beneficial, more power to ya. However the fact that you feel that way, and that you don't have a good opinion of the raiding community with regard to ilvl restrictions, doesn't mean the loot system couldn't do with some more improving.
