It would have to only be Alex normal and Omega normal. Putting Coil in there means fights like Nael and [insert that spoilery T12 boss] coming up in roulette synced which people would either fail or immediately disband. Maybe it's ok on JP datacenters where it's apparently more common to get first-time clears in PF practice groups before entering DF random matchmaking. The way we use DF here, parties would keep falling apart for what is almost equivalent to Savage level stuff, and people would stop using the roulette to avoid the possibility. For normal raids starting from the normal/savage split in HW, I look forward to a roulette and doing it is a no-brainer I think.
Because these raids are unforgiving far more so than the current raids in roulette while synced...form a party [Party Finder] and do them unsynched - they are still challenging to a point and most people will show up when a bonus is available to do so with. - Or do them synched if you want.good luck either way.

I haven't hit 60 yet; how cutscene-heavy is Alexander/Omega? Cuz Bahamut is pretty heavy with cutscenes in several of the turns. How often do you want to sit through those (or, more accurately, sit in the holding pen while the newbie watches)?
Alex is cut scene heavy....lot too it....but so is any other raid for first time.
omega only slightly less.
Poster above me is both correct and wrong - there are lengthy cutscenes, yes, but they are only before and after the instance. They will not interrupt the actual instance itself - the devs stopped putting story cutscenes in duty instances after Coils/Castrum Meridanum/Praetorium.
I was being general about it......but yes....this is true. Raids generally never have "major plot" cut-scenes in mid stride....."coils" being the exception. SE stopped doing that for obvious reasons.Poster above me is both correct and wrong - there are lengthy cutscenes, yes, but they are only before and after the instance. Indeed. I haven't touched MSQ roulette since 4.2. I know about the auto-text, but I dunno about how runs normally go. Given that T9 is probably still the hardest normal raid (on account on meteor drops that can easily get messed up), I can see coils being excluded from the roulette if it ever happened.

I don't recall any instance of Alexander Normal being unforgiving and challenging, with the exception of Cruise Chaser (but that's entirely a healer issue... and occasionally off-tank).Because these raids are unforgiving far more so than the current raids in roulette while synced...form a party [Party Finder] and do them unsynched - they are still challenging to a point and most people will show up when a bonus is available to do so with. - Or do them synched if you want.good luck either way.
They're about as hard as Hashmal, Ozma and Scathach... maybe less.
And we all know the community in general just waltzes through those, right? :P
I'm all in favor of a roulette like this. My alts are starting to hit 60 and I'd very much like to be able to DF it. PFing first timer Alex always makes me feel like I have to sprint through the cutscenes because I'm keeping all those people waiting. Having a roulette other than Mentor roulette to help move the queues along will be wonderful, especially since Mentor roulette only looks at duties that were a long time in queue to begin with - the waiting time is baked into it by definition, whereas regular roulettes will just pop when you have enough people.
