Is it a good thing to suggest the devs dedicate time and resources to policing this?
Is it a good thing to auto disband a small FC because someone unexpectedly leaves?
Is it a good thing to forbid small FCs from kicking a toxic member?
Why would the devs allocate a GM to something that automation can handle?
If the players can't roll an alt within a week because someone left, or find another member, there's bigger issues in play than a smaller roster size.
If we're talking about a micro FC (which is what we're really talking about here, as most small FCs are usually less than 50, but generally over 10 or so members), why couldn't someone roll an alt and stick it in the FC to balance?
Or (Hydaelen forbid) someone actually interacts with another person and recruits another player into the FC.....
Wouldn't that normally precede an FC that's about to break up anyway?
There is literally no reason for this. If people want to be in an FC with less then 4 members then let them.
Actually the OP is right...your derailing the thread and resorting to personal attacks...I suggest you stop before I report you myself.
Knock it off.
As for the OP's proposal....I dont like it either...but lets stop with the stupid foolishness of name calling as you so pointedly indicated and drawing out topics that are not in this thread.
Nowhere did I see mention of housing in any case...the complaint is FC's shouldn't be so easily formed...nothing to do with housing.
Wasn't there in the first place until you started making it an issue. Goes for everyone else who also drew a conclusion...coincidental or not.

What? No, seriously. What?
In what insane reality do either of you live in that any response Hyomin made constitutes a personal attack? I was under the impression this were a forum where people... disagreed with one another. Apparently, doing so equals to emotional baggage. Given the OP's increasing hostility, what's actual quite apparent is they do not want to have any discussion but simply expect everyone to agree with their proposal. Such a shame the world doesn't revolve around you.
Anyway.
As nearly everyone has already stated, enforcing a four person restriction on FCs serves no objective purpose but to punish people. You even acknowledge alts would circumvent such a restriction regardless, OP; making it all the more pointless. If people wish to have a FC with only one or two member, leave them be. They neither hurt nor impact you.

Not cool suggestion. Some players make guilds for extra storage, not only to get your so wanted house wwww
More importantly, all of Hyomin's posts were discussing the topic. Ironically, the only off topic derailment posts were the ones telling them to stop derailing the thread with off topic posts (further derailing the thread into a discussion of the accusation of derailment).
Since OP refuses to back up their reasoning for such restrictions, there's not much to discuss here, anyway. Claims that "SE thinks the minimum size for an FC should be 4" are bunk. If that's truly what they intended, they would've have set the restriction in place from the start. Restrictions were not implemented, therefore, it can be assumed they have no opinion on maintaining small FCs.
Try making an alt on Balmung. If the players can't roll an alt within a week because someone left, or find another member, there's bigger issues in play than a smaller roster size.

But really, this proposal is one of the most pointless I've seen. I'd rather they spend resources on something less pointless.
Any FC without a house, that has less than 4 members, affects you about as much as an FC with the average amount of members. As in, it doesn't affect you at all.
Any FC with a house, that has less than 4 members, might affect you, but that is more an issue with the housing availability, not the actual FC.
