Can we please get SOMETHING TO DO ingame?

How much fun can you really have playing with a dead body? Poke it with a stick a few times and move on. I am losing any faith in them ever turning this game around. Greatest gaming dissapointment of the last 10 years, easily. Part of me still hopes it can, but that hope fades against the backdrop of games being released between now and whenever they release version 6000.2 sometime in 2015.

I have 2 lvl 50 and after people started requiring sentinel for Ifrit, i decided i was done with this game. I have no desire to level up more classes. Grinding exp is ok for maybe the first class i level, after that no thanks. Sadly that's all this game has, grinding. I don't mind "grinding" bosses as long as the fights are fun, I don't like mindlessly killing animals or beastmen for EXP.

So yeah, i have been taking my time as to try not to exhaust the current game, sadly it doesn't offer any fun ways of leveling, or endgame once you get there.

Sure, ranking up is fun (except when you only got two fighting class left and dont really feel any need to lvl them) and so is going to teh dungeon and killing ifrit and the ebast camps.

But please, PLEASE! give us something to do!

A little casino to gamble, chocobo runs, A CARD GAME A LA TRIPLE TRIAD!, SOMETHING to do besides killing stuff!

Jokes aside (loooool), ahem! I don't know how long but it should be done already: When will there be low-level events like FFxi had (garrison for example). Don't need instances for THAT.

You don't have to have SE to implement this stuff, get creative and provide some content for yourself! (i know, they need to add more content...and they are with the next patch which should be out in a couple of weeks).

Define a course in a zone for you and your friends to race in. Wager on who can get the last kill on a mob, or on if a lowbie will survive that aggro'd 15 level higher mob that's attacking them

People are so bored they can't get creative... wow.

Gather a few players and play hide and seek (/names off, a piece of paper to hide your mini-map).
Emote wars (don't use a single word, only non-custom emotes, for X minutes. Try to have the most coherent conversation with someone).

etc. etc. etc.

These kind of comments really get on my nevers!
I don't even really have anything to even say except - GO DIE IN A FIRE with your user generated content (lol maybe not die but burn at least!)
If I want to create my own content I go do that somewhere else than in a game...

Luckily, I haven't ran out of content because I am extremely casual player BUT I can see how people would run out of content. My LS has people who have been playing FFXIV full time since the beginning. They have all jobs (even culinarian and fishing) 50 and they really don't have anything to do anymore.
I was actually thinking that once I get my conjurer to 50, I might create another character (just for fun) and play that to 50 on some jobs as well. I know it is a bit of a repeat but I actually like leveling and I like the idea of having two characters to choose from.

Really now? really? Im asking for something to do besides ranking up (which Im almost done leveling them all, except for crafting cuz they bore the hell out of me, only 2 fighting classes to go)

What Im asking for is some sort of minigames to keep me entertained. Killing stuff can only be so entertaining after a year and a half of the game -_-
