Sure, ranking up is fun (except when you only got two fighting class left and dont really feel any need to lvl them) and so is going to teh dungeon and killing ifrit and the ebast camps.

But please, PLEASE! give us something to do!

A little casino to gamble, chocobo runs, A CARD GAME A LA TRIPLE TRIAD!, SOMETHING to do besides killing stuff!

You don't have to have SE to implement this stuff, get creative and provide some content for yourself! (i know, they need to add more content...and they are with the next patch which should be out in a couple of weeks).

Define a course in a zone for you and your friends to race in. Wager on who can get the last kill on a mob, or on if a lowbie will survive that aggro'd 15 level higher mob that's attacking them

I agree we need something to do. I'm fine with quests but there are only a handful to do

There is an achievement system coming in 1.20 (300+ achievements, which probably means 301 or so) which might help give you something to do other than leveling up.

I am curious as to what type of achievement system they're putting in place. I wouldn't mind a little sneak peak at a few of them.

sadly it dont take long to finish most of what we have in this game. Might be the best advice, play some other games (loads of good ones out lately) and then blow through the next patch like everyone else will. Then you will have the distinct honor of paying for barely any content =)

Hey, if Im going to be paying to play I want to have the stuff set up for me...
