I just got the sims 3 and generation expansion pack, So much more to do than FF14, C ya guys until they make 14 a game.

And true. What some are suggesting is the 'sandbox' concept (as opposed to 'theme park'). User-created content. And it's so niche, it's not even funny.

If I wanted that, I'd go play Minecraft or The Sims.

No pvp too 2.0 they are adding a new prime fight and i think a new dungeon so just wait for that.

that will last all of what? a week before half the server has done it to death lol. then its back to sitting around waiting for the next patch. I don't know how the did it in FFXI, but i never felt like there was nothing to do. maybe because everything took some time or because they never made old content not worth a damn so quickly (of course abysea ruined that)

we get told how stuff will be harder, but people still make it look like a joke in less then a day, then others complain about how they can't do it, so it will get nerfed for the casual people. I do enjoy some of my time in this game, but there is no way in hell i can justify paying for what little is there, or how little can really be done/fixed until 2.0. Still baffles me why people are so for paying 13$+ a month for the game. In 2.0 i can totally get it, but until then i could barely get myself to spend even a fraction of that.

the new prime fight is harder then the last and it took someone 3+days to win it so i think it would take a few days before someone can win it. In ffxi you play around when? if you say rise of the zilart or cop then there was lot's to do vs ffxiv where noting to really do.

I don't think this game would pick up too they release a new pack with 10+level of something to do. but ya i agree there not really to do and the dungeon/new prime fight would be done within a few days.

also we getting a discount on the price when the game goes p2p so paying let's say half price is pretty good seeing how the game is half made.

There is an achievement system coming in 1.20 (300+ achievements, which probably means 301 or so) which might help give you something to do other than leveling up.

I am curious as to what type of achievement system they're putting in place. I wouldn't mind a little sneak peak at a few of them.

We already have an achievement system in place. I got one the other day for defeating, I believe, 6000 enemies. We just don't have a means of viewing them. I believe you get one for every World NM you defeat as well. They just pop up as text on the chat log.
