uh, I thought it was one of the lowest populations but THEeee highest active population...
unless i was told wrong
+1Not to pile on, but this post is just so full of wrong.
Firstly, since we can't take items out of the Dresser once we put them in, the 200 item slots is a real limitation, even for someone using it judiciously. Say you only Glamour a single job, but change looks every month. You'll be over halfway full after a year, and guess what? You can't free up space without deleting the item forever! Wonderful system.
Secondly, are you seriously advocating that we get 10 Plates PER job while stating that 200 slots is fine? You do realize that fully utilizing 10 Plates requires 12-13 items, correct? So... 10 plates per job... 120-130 items in the Dresser per job... yeah, I can't see anything going wrong with that at all, given the 200 item limit. Nope, no logical contradiction there.
These things have to be proportional. And they both need to be increased.

Searching
- "Search by gathering" in crafting log.
- isearch to support "" search for phrases, rather than searching single words.
- partial search for auto translate
Some people know that you can start writing and press tab and it'll list out choices to autocomplete
ex: Hell (tab)-> Hell's Lid = 4th choice
However this doesn't work for partial or phrase searching!
So using "Fractal" currently doesn't the "The Fractal Continuum" as a choice. A person using the auto-complete for auto-translate has to use:
The (tab)-> go down to choice 57.
-Free company searching
-Linkshell searching
(to the post below me, you did not understand what I said, pretty sure that is the active population, not total, if 23k is enough to make a server crowded, seems underwhelming server capacity say the least.)

If you’re not actually on Balmung, I don’t think you have room to talk. Balmung IS dying for some of us. It’s becoming harder to find RP, and if that sounds laughable to you, then it doesn’t apply to you, and you should mind your own business. I also don’t wish to vacate my apartment, and move to Mateus. Make it so I can transfer my apartment, and then we will talk.
I am currently on Balmung, I roleplay. It doesn't need to be unlocked. It would be nice if they had an invite system like FFXI, but there are still PLENTY of people to RP with. Maybe the issue is not the lack of people to play with, but the attitude of those seeking RP.If you’re not actually on Balmung, I don’t think you have room to talk. Balmung IS dying for some of us. How ironic. I know it's hard for some ppl to grasp, but there was a large amount of us that server transferred off Balmung the months after ARR release. Due to the influx of overall rude and over entitled players trying to dictate the server and its players. Amazing how such an influx of a small % of these types (nonrp included) kill the fun for others. Yet these players, many OG Balmungers didn't make demands on the forums, they moved on.
Balmung's locked state is simple, its overcrowded, effects server and datacenter performance for everyone on Aether, and its not viable for them to waste resources to make one server "work".

I payed to be here, so I disagree with you. I think it should work the way a lot of us expected it to.How ironic.
