New system is flawed for dye colors. Less expensive to get an identical gear to change it's color then to dye over pure white or jet black dye.

This isn't correct. When I stuffed my Glacial Coat in there it kept the Pure White dye.

This only applies to the Dresser...any items you put in the armoire lose their dyes. The warning window says as much "And and all customization's"

Yeah, I was going to say, I lose my dye every time I store my primary glamour body. (Main reason I refuse to use my Pure White dye yet.)

The armoire can have items taken back out of it.

Pretty much right there with you Vhailor. I've given up on trying to get anyone to play. None of my friends can play with me since my server is seemingly permanently closed due to server limitations. Oh and you can't get a house because of server limitations. And your inventory is always going to be full because of server limitations. The glamour system sucks because of server limitations. Gear progression is horridly boring and dull due to server limitations.

It's insane that LotRO, WoW, EQ2, SWG all have better housing systems than FFXIV and all but SWG have better 'glamour' systems. But development of FFXIV is very much stuck in a perpetual state of doing the bare minimum. I can't remember the last patch that I've been excited for some new addition. I'm always excited for a QoL feature.

They really need to take the time to actually fix the backend systems.

I recall reading that so much spaghetti code from 1.x and workarounds to those systems exist just to get stuff working...

There shouldn't be any code from 1.x.
I think the problem is more that the 2.0 codes were progammed within 2 years.

But it would be the same issue using prisms, wouldn’t it? Except you’d be storing the two copies of the item in your inventory instead of the dresser.

No Prob...I tested it with the werewolf which i dyed metallic purple....dont ask lol.
