Either you are trying (and failing) to be funny or you are being overly sensitive. Words have multiple meanings. I knew twink as slang for a low-level video game character with better-than-average gear long, long before I ever heard it as slang referring to anything to do with gay people. It's very common in some games (not this one probably because alts themselves are less common and gear quality is fairly equal across the level brackets.) I've no idea which meaning came first though but I'm sure no one here intended any offense toward anyone else. They are just using the word as they learned it, so there is no reason to go kicking up a fuss.

As a gay person, caring about the way that we are spoken to is not “being too sensitive.” We get mistreated our whole lives, and so these kinds of things shouldn’t happen. I don’t feel comfortable seeing it on this game. That makes me feel unsafe.Either you are trying (and failing) to be funny or you are being overly sensitive. Words have multiple meanings. If a word that has been used for multiple decades in gaming makes you feel unsafe because it has relevance to something else in your life in an entirely different context, then I don't know what to tell you. In that case, the gaming term 'tank' should make you feel a HELL of a lot more "unsafe" than twink does, if you're comparing alternative meanings of the words. Nobody feels safe when an M1 Abrams is hanging around.
But on topic, I can't imagine there will be any restrictions beyond simply needing four members in the company. Having an entourage of alts should work just fine.
You are victimizing yourself over nothing.
Multiple people have already explained it is not meant to be an insult and I too only know the term from WoW for alt characters or characters who have better gear than usual for low levels +enchants and gems for PVP etc.
No point in getting upset when everyone is telling you they are not insulting you or anyone else with the term.
I still don’t agree with you at all. I think these kinds of terms come off as slurs, because of where the word comes from. If I hear a bunch of straight people using a gay term in another way, the first thing I’m going to do is evaluate my safety. Often they use our words in aggressive manners. You are victimizing yourself over nothing.

Prove it is...or move on.
If you think it is..then report it...and move on.
Point being...move on.
*And for the record....its obvious it's not the case because as everyone has cited/referenced/indicated - its a wowcraft term. - Personally I call them "toons"*
Ew, you got WoW in my EQ.It only became a slur when someone suggested it was

Your evalution in this case should have come to the conclusion that:I still don’t agree with you at all. I think these kinds of terms come off as slurs, because of where the word comes from. 1) You are not in any danger - partly because this is a forum on the internet and because the OP wasnt specifically refering to you at all
2) The term wasnt used in an aggressive manner
3) The OP most likely wasnt aware that the term had a second meaning - just how you werent aware that the term has a second meaning. As far as I know its a very common term for alt-characters in the german MMO-slang - I knew what the term meant in that regard before I played an MMO at all. In this context I'd like to remind you how the forum guidelines ask us all to keep in mind that people are coming from different backgrounds - in this case, the OP is german and used the term in the way he knows it. The appropriate reaction in regards to the forum guidelines to me seems to be: "Oh, okay, didnt know that - no insulted intended, non taken, lets move on!"
You're trying to make yourself a victim here, when you werent attacked... I might overstep boundaries here, because I dont know you, but: Is that really the life you want to live? Seeing insults and threats everywhere you go even though there might be non, like in this case?
