Enormous lags and constant DCs

I use a pc that's wired to the internet. Only time have lag issues and disconnects is when i'm in palace of the dead or in a dungeon. When check my ping it's 30 to 40 outside but when go into a dungeon jumped once to 1300 ping.

This has been happening to me for a bout 2 days now as well. The only difference from my setup at all is that I updated my game to 4.2

I did not have DC issues prior to 4.2

this is happening constantly while in the outside world...but then when I join a raid or dungeon it gets pretty ****ed up to be honest...constant disconnect and unbearable lags inside after 4.2

no neither have I. ever since 4.2 arrived its been getting worse and worse...I have been playing for about 20 minutes and got 2 disconnections with the error mentioned above and lagging

- the nature of the latency
- Type of connection (wired or wireless)

As I mentioned above, its PC version, not sure what u mean by nature of latency it just makes the game unplayable its wireless connection, no other programs running...I have tried to reset my router, checked everything on my pc that could cause it but nothing helped.
I'm not being funny but its hardly only me that this has been happening to if it affects other players and its after the 4.2 patch came out, coincidence? I don't think so. The game was perfectly working like a charm before the update and now I get booted from the game at least 5-10 times in 2.5hours which is definitely not helping the case that I pay for a subscription and this makes my gameplay experience very unpleasant.

I'm wireless but prior to the 4.2 I used my 4g data on my phone to play and it lagged or disconnected me ever! and then whether I try to play it now on my normal internet or my 4g data it doest the exact same thing..it lags like hell and it disconnects me whenever it feels like it. disgusting!

its taking the piss now! since ive posted my last reply I have been disconnected 3 times and every time I have to requeue for the ******* duty finder because the game keeps disconnecting me and I'm losing my spot in the queue!

Type of latency? Uhh, general lag and disconnects I guess, particularly in duties.

Relogging, tried turning router on and off again, internet speed tests worked fine but XIV still has the issues. Haven't tried to reinstall yet but I will if this doesn't get resolved soon.

It's very bizarre Ariel, only XIV has these issues, my other online games like Overwatch work perfectly fine and since my internet is also fine I don't think it's a problem on our end per se. I tried logging in to my alt on aether data center and it worked perfectly so it got me thinking it might be a data center issue so then I tried my alt on the same data center as my main character but on another world in the same data center and that worked fine too. My main character on Phoenix is the only one that is having this issue for some reason. My friend thinks it might be a routing issue on your end but I'm not a tech person so I got no clue.

- Besides the normal for corsair keyboard, mouse, mouse pad, nothing.
- I'm on fiber and I've already reset it a few times.

This is not on the player end as I've come back to groups where people have also 90k. Please fix this. Getting tired of all the disconnects and lag.

I agree they need to fix it and hopefully the hotfixes they have for the 6th will do the trick. hopefully
