I like the tether, it adds a team work element to it, you have to pay attention to your partner, though they could also make maze races I suppose to make it something different.

Pen and paper works too, I personally just used the Sign marks 1-5 and the X for angel cards ^^ That way both players can see them.

I really liked the event too Lots of fun doing that maze and meeting new people.

I used the sign markers as well, it really made the second trial a snap, and I got very high ratings after I used them. Cut down on so much guessing.
