But just think how much more impact it would have had if they had died. Tragedy makes games more interesting, than the standard everything will always turn out good. I could say so much more, but I don't want to get into too many plot details.
Was it me though, or wasn't there supposed to be a new lala in the msq too? I thought the 4.2 preview showed a lala with silver hair and glasses talking to Krile?
I think it was just the separating of content that made it feel shorter than normal. Usually having to do a dungeon mid MSQ makes it feel longer because well, you had to go and do that dungeon. In terms of story progression, not a lot really happened as it was more character focused than the narrative. It would have been nice to have some more idea of "what's next" though as it feels like we got an extended cliffhanger from the end of 4.0.
99% sure that has to do with Eureka, and thus not till 4.25. Stay tuned basically.
Not really? The way they would have died in 2.55 was just...REALLY stupid. Even more since literally everyone knew the Scions were being set-up for something they didn't do. If the set-up to it was better sure, but I could say that about anything really.
Also the character that started this thread being still alive is certainly NOT showing everything turning out for the better. Quite the opposite honestly.
