I ran it because it was fairly quick and got me a handful of gil. Hardly irrelevant.

You are the first person I've seen in the forums or game to ever bring up gil as a reason to do that roulette. Whatever floats your boat but that's a very limited case.

Also why are you capped on poetics? Buy stuff with it-> sell it , Buy gear with it->GC seals-> buy stuff with it-> sell it

And if the gil is what you care about, then by getting more poetics, you can convert that into more gil using the above.
