    This. I've been levelling MCH at the same time as BRD because shared gear, and when you've got no ammo and the RNG gets disagreeable, I find myself doing this:

    1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1.

    Healer DPS is more interesting than that. It's frustrating as hell. Putting it on the shelf and never touching it again once the levelling is done.

    Calling Stormblood a mistake is a pretty broad assertion. There's certainly some mistakes in it, though. Like Shirogane's launch, and the changes coming up for that. It's pretty hard for me to take the middle finger SE just gave me on getting a house as any kind of positive development.

    The way combat skews so DPS heavy in every role? Not my favorite design decision. That SE seems surprised by the DPS meta that evolved around that just makes them seem extremely out of touch.

    The camera of the MSQ focuses too much on Lyse for my liking, as IMO she's the least interesting character in Stormblood. Too many dungeons amount to the same design of "round it up and AoE it", the lack of variety is very monotonous at this point. Being level synced down to 20 constantly in roulette has gotten very tedious when you're trying to learn a 60+ job.

    All that said... the healers are fun to play and things are reasonably balanced there (as evidenced by the relative tranquility in the healer subforum). Aside from Lyse, the MSQ held my attention far better than ARR did. BRD got an awesome rework and is just a joy to play. Rabanastre is interesting and pretty fun.

    So, kind of a mixed bag. But I think it's more good than bad.

    You're aware the shots proc individually of each other right? 1 procs 2, 2 procs 3, but they don't need to be done in order. The shot combo isn't linear.

    I do understand that the changes made to MCH don't do it justice at lower levels, as now that Gauss Barrel at 52 generates heat, but there's nothing to manage heat til 62, that seems like their eyes were only forward in creating the Stormblood MCH. Something I certainly hope is addressed either before the end of Stormblood, or certainly in the next expansion.

    and if they were aiming to do so why isn't it a Tank, its defense is poor I even know what he's talking about, I play one game with paladin he's tanking mobs perfectly fine.
    I flag up again get a DRK and watching DRK struggle with mobs and healer spamming like crazy to keep him alive only to die even after healer said go ahead and pull a lot.

    Warrior its either way not much to say about it but I still think DRK should of never been tank, if they were gonna release a tank should of taken something from old jobs and put it in game saved DRK for later.

    As for now I have no desire to lvl that job at first I did now that went out the window with what I have noticed might be some good drk out there but the struggle is real.

Bad dungeons are the Antitower (limited to pulling three mobs at a time in the first phase, literally a straight line with two or three turns, overuse of transformation mechanics) or Neverreap (long periods of boss invulnerability/no dpsing, annoying twister mechanic in normal gameplay) I have yet to see anyone say they really despise them, save for drop rate problems.

    Everyone I talk to despised Temple of the Fist. People are getting tired of being synced down to 310 cuz people keep farming Ala Mhigo for that mount and Skalla is just sort of... there... So I'll give you that, only 2 dungeons I guess but personally, I am not a fan of all 4. Repetition will do that.

    It has some flaws, but it's not a complete waste and is still a viable tank option. It's just a more complex tank to work with, but I feel that the more complex gameplay makes the job more fun to tank with.

    I'll give a better example since I play both. Right now, I main Paladin for newer content because my gf told me to it's a simpler and easier tank to work with, meaning I can take better note of whatever mechanics are present for whatever fight I'm on. Once I felt like I've learned the fights, I dump the training wheels, go Dark Knight, and have a bit more fun with the content. The only real reason why I don't main Dark Knight is because my gf prefers me on Paladin the other tank in my static is a Dark Knight main.

    As for why it's here as a tank, prior to Heavensward, we only had two tank jobs, Dark Knight was one of the most requested jobs by players at the time, and the expansion had a better setting for it than it did for Samurai.

    I like Temple of the Fist. The fights are more mechanical, and it severely punishes morons who think they can just pull every group until the boss, plus it gives some fun monk lore and probably one of the coolest-looking minions in the game. The only one of those four dungeons I don't like is Kugane Castle, but that's only because I would wind up with that for about 90% of all my Ex Roulettes.

    Then again, it doesn't matter as much anymore due to us getting Ex Roulette changed to just the two new dungeons.

    Why? The boss fights are actually decent in it, with varied mechanics. The second boss is an excellent training tool for players as well. Pulls are pretty varied in terms of mobs. I mean, if its just repetition people should loathe Fractal Continuum, aka what everyone did due to higher tomes for relic in HW. Just puzzled, I mean the dungeons aren't offensive or have things that make them a chore.

    Almost everything in stormblood was an improvement, especially the job gauges and class ability trimming. in fact they didn't do enough. we need more skill trimming/consolidation.
